No Bartley, Palmer or Bryan yesterday, do we read anything into that? Bruce said yesterday that everyone got 45mins apart from the kids which sort of implies Bartley isn't in his thoughts? The next few friendlies should be revealing.

You have misread, sorry to say. Bartley not fit after injury at end of last season. Same with Bryan but have no idea about Palmer.

Having watched the highlights, there was some nice play and we created a few chances, as expected in the first pre season friendly there was some sloppy play too.

Ashworth's goal is a peach.

Ah hadn't seen that, thanks for confirming. I did suspect that was the case with Bryan but hadn't heard about Bartley.
