Yes it’s being closed doors but I think it’s at Lagos and there is an area you can see quite well. Hoping so anyway

I'm in Moncarapacho as well - who'd believe it! Do you know Adrian Jones at all as he mentioned another Baggie he knows in Moncarapacho?

Yes I know Adrian well. I’ll get your number off him and we must meet for a beer 🍺

I’ve just pulled in to the ground in Lagos to see if there is a vantage point or it’sa wasted trip

Fairly good view from a bank outside the ground. Grounds man told me where to go. Beach, beers, football. Wife driving home. Happy man

I know it’s about minutes but it’s a bit of a pet peeve of mine not to play the formation you intend to play with during pre season. Why not start as you mean to go on and get some shape work in at the same time.

Sometimes, well a lot of the time, you just have to smile through it supporting the Albion, even in a friendly.

That's been my take away really. Scoreline doesn't matter - even against lower league opposition  - but it should be a chance to work out your shape.

Seems Bruce still isn't sure what he is going to do as he has tried a few different formations in his last few games.

Joseph Masi:

“Goal Orient. And it's a horror show for Kipre. Albion goal-kick. Griffiths passes to Kipre. He is about to be pressed but instead of passing to Griffiths he passes it into his own net from just a couple of yards...”

No Bartley, Palmer or Bryan yesterday, do we read anything into that? Bruce said yesterday that everyone got 45mins apart from the kids which sort of implies Bartley isn't in his thoughts? The next few friendlies should be revealing.

You have misread, sorry to say. Bartley not fit after injury at end of last season. Same with Bryan but have no idea about Palmer.

Having watched the highlights, there was some nice play and we created a few chances, as expected in the first pre season friendly there was some sloppy play too.

Ashworth's goal is a peach.

Ah hadn't seen that, thanks for confirming. I did suspect that was the case with Bryan but hadn't heard about Bartley.

Ashworths goal was a beauty to be fair. Less said about Kipres the better
