West Bromwich Albion FC / Next 7 games

H-Blackburn -  Will not be easy they will be fighting for there lifes, Holiett is a very good player and so is Yakubu. If we can keep them quiet am confident we can get that vital win we need.I dont think were lose this one. I think were just nick it. 3 points

Man City - We did really well against them in December but at home they are a quality side. 0 points

QPR - Again similar to blackburn, we should be looking at 3 points. We seem to do well against Mark Hughes teams. 3 points

Liverpool - Mehh cant stand them but i think they will win this. 0 points

Villa - Local derby , they will be fighting to get out of the relegation zone. But there team is pretty weak. 3 points

Bolton- There last home game of the season , they will probaly be safe before they play us if they keep there form up if not then i can see them winning. 0 points

Arsenal- I think we could get a draw here , this could be Roys last game in charge of WBA am sure the players will want to win but i see a draw here. 1 point

So that gives us 10 points which leaves us on 46 points

West Bromwich Albion FC / Our Midfield is weak
« on: March 31, 2012, 09:51:46 PM »
Simple as were not good enough in midfield, we have one great defensive midfielder and that is Mulumbu and one great attacking midfielder in Morrison.

Brunt - No pace, slows down our play and hardly ever takes anyone on.Frustrating player
Thomas- Cant shoot for a toffee, he can take on his man but lacks the final ball.
Andrews - mehh started off well but he was shown up today, decent player to have on the bench.
Scharner - I think he should be let go in the summer , he cant pass he cant run. A big fans favourite but sadly i think his days in the Prem are coming to a end.
Tchoyi- Looks like Messi one minute then 5 minutes down the line he is bloody awful. Again decent player to have on the bench
Dorrans - Had a big potential but has floped when called upon thus being he hasent really had any more starts. Think he will be let go in the summer.

Mulumbu,Morrison for me have the quality and maybe Brunt at times but the rest are quite average. Gera was doing very well intill his injury lets hope he returns well. But in the summer we need to invest money into the midfield because it is really weak when Mulumbu or Morrison are injured were rubbish in mdifeld. We need some pace down the flanks because were to predictable at times. Who ever is in charge in the summer needs to get rid of the midfield deadwood and buy some pacy wingers and maybe a player who can pick a pass out of no where. Thorne and Allan look good prospects but i think they need a bit more experiance.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Next 2 Games Are Vital !
« on: February 04, 2012, 05:40:15 PM »
Wolves - BCD of course anything can happen but Wolves like us at home struggle , if we can go there and get the first goal there fans will turn on them . Away from home this season we have been fantastic we have only lost to Chelsea,Swansea,Spurs, and Arsenal. Shane Long will be back aswell which is a huge plus. No doubt they will be up for it  will the albion though ?  Hopefully the players are hurting like us fans and they will be up for it. They(Wolves) had a good win today so there confidence will be high. Would not surprise me if we went there and won and Roy would be a god again.

Sunderland- Are doing really well under MON but this is a game where we need to win  but we will most likely lose.

6 points would be fantastic and would leave us on 32 points , 38 points will be enough this season.

4 points would be ok.

Lose against these two teams and were doomed "!!

West Bromwich Albion FC / Injuries
« on: January 01, 2012, 03:18:43 PM »
Mulumbu ( Probaly be back in 1or 2 weeks)
Olsson ( Calf injury most likely be out for 2 weeks)
Brunt ( Needs test according to Chris Lepkowski )
Gera ( Long Term)

Getting a bit worried now because were low on numbers . We need to sign 1 or 2 players .

West Bromwich Albion FC / Staying Up Or Going Down ?
« on: December 11, 2011, 05:52:10 PM »
Just want know what you all think. I reckon we will stay up but only just. I think it will go to the last day of the season :-X

West Bromwich Albion FC / Next 7 games
« on: November 07, 2011, 04:18:32 PM »
Bolton H
Spurs H
QPR A
Wigan H
Blackburn A
Newcastle A
Man City H

How many points do you think were get ?

Our Home record is dismal , one win so far is just not good enough and we have only scored 4 goals at home.

Bolton - Tough because there going to be high on confidence after beating stoke 5-0, but if we are to stay in this league we need to win these sort of games . I think were just edge it though.

Spurs - We have done good against spurs recently , so am confident of getting a point

QPR - got a horrible feeling about QPR away , i think were lose this one

Wigan - Looked doomed already , same as bolton i think were edge it.

Blackburn - We are WBA and we like giving teams a boost or there first goal or there first clean sheet . Think were lose this .

Newcastle -  Cant see us getting anything here.

Man City - lol not looking forward to this . If we turn up like we did at arsenal then this could be double figures.

so on my predictions we will get   7 points  .

West Bromwich Albion FC / Next 5 games
« on: October 02, 2011, 03:47:50 PM »
 H - Wolves
A - Villa
H - Liverpool
A - Arsenal
H- Bolton

Wolves - We must win this game , simple as .
Villa - We can deffo  get a point .
Liverpool - tough, Liverpool are stronger this year but we should be aiming to win our home games , a point would be good i suppose.
Arsenal are worse this year but if we go there and sit back we will lose 4-0 , go there and attack then who knows.
Bolton - again we must win games like this .

8 points would be very nice , if we lose the derbys then we have Liverpool who would love to beat us and put a nail in Hodgsons coffin lets hope that dosent happen.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Anyone else fed up ?
« on: September 24, 2011, 07:59:36 PM »
So 2 home games i have been to this season we have been absolute s****, i honestly thought today that we would go for it but it was the same as the stoke game , we had a early chance then after that we just sat back for 45 mins, ok 2nd half we pushed a bit but that was not good enough for me , for god sake we were playing a weakened Fulham why didn't we go for it ? We nearly lost again but good job we had Ben Foster, I like Roy but enough is enough he needs to drop Long/Odemwingie and go back to 4-5-1, but he is too bloody stubborn if he continues this he will be gone very soon , its like he's to scared to drop Long because of Long's price tag , i hope he changes but i cant see it which is a shame.

12
West Bromwich Albion FC / No need to panic
« on: September 17, 2011, 11:34:04 PM »
Ok lets see

* Gera will be back :P  he will be taking Morrison's spot i hope
* We have 4 winnable games in my view
*Fulham,Sunderland,Wolves and Villa
* Am sure Roy will change things you just have to give him time guys and gals ;)

No need to panic people a win against Fulham and were on our way , if i remember rightly wernt Stoke on the same points as us last season at this time aswell and look what they achieved, ok it was a bad performance today but we have to move on. Could be worse we could be in Bolton's shoes they are stuck on 3 points and have Arsenal and Spurs away next ouchhhh

13
West Bromwich Albion FC / Next Four Games
« on: August 20, 2011, 11:52:36 PM »
ok :D   we have

Stoke  - H  -  W
Norwich - A - D
Swansea - A  D
Fulham - H  W

8 points i reckon

14
West Bromwich Albion FC / Marc Antoine Fortune'
« on: June 13, 2011, 02:55:24 PM »
In my view i think a good Championship run would do him a world of good, i think in the Championship he could be really decent, if i was Roy i would let him go to a Championship promotion contender team for example Blackpool or Birmingham and see how he does , 2 goals in 25 games is just not good enough

General Football & Sports / Fa Cup Final - Stoke v Man City

Prediction

Man City 0-0 Stoke

It will go to pens and i fancy stoke to win the shoot out.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Looking forward to next season
« on: May 08, 2011, 06:48:56 PM »
This season has been a good one , we have had highs and lows but its been fantastic journey, now i just want this season to end because am excited for next season, am looking forward to what players come in, of course now we have a better chance of attracting better players. We will need to build a better defence and am sure Roy will, dont forget this isnt Roy's team so i expect some Fulham players to come in Gera,Andy Johnson or John Patsill. Next season we should aim for the 40 point mark first ,  and as soon as we reach that we can push on . With Roy having a full pre season with the players and perhaps bringing his our coaching staff in plus the new players, we should be fully prepared for another Exciting Premier League season :D

18
West Bromwich Albion FC / Rebuilding the Defence
« on: May 08, 2011, 02:23:14 PM »
Well the whole back four were awful except Shorey who i thought showed composure , but in the summer this defence needs rebuliding i mean all 3 of there goals were down to the defence , we concede 2 from corners where NO 1 was marking, but the defence should know better , Meite what was he thinking the idiot , Olsson should of know better gave away a stupid free kick and this lead to there goal, dont get me started of Jara what a rubbish defender,

New Right back
New Centre Back  is needed

19
In the past i have doubted him but i did not know that he was only 22 :o His attitude is a problem so is his weight, but if we could get a slimmer giles barnes and if he could pull his socks up and actually brakes sweat he could be a decent player for us, If anyone can get the best out of him its Roy i think he is out of contract at the end of the season, personally i would offer him a 1 year contract and loan him out for 3 months and bring him back to see if he actually wants play his heart out for WBA if not then let him go next season?

20
West Bromwich Albion FC / West Stand
« on: May 02, 2011, 12:10:07 PM »
Can we please make it bigger :D There were plans a few years ago to demolish it and buld a single 10,000 capacity stand, to make the capacity 33,000, at the moment we average 24,619 which is the 4th worst in the league, if we did make the Halfords bigger i would give away fans a bigger allocation, at the moment we give away fans 2,500 or something like that, lets give them the smethwick, i know some people would not like this but maybe this would make the home atmosphere better , so what would you do ? I just think we should make it bigger maybe next year  if we stay up again  , its a very small stand for a premiership club , it looks more like a league 1 stand. Thoughts?

West Bromwich Albion FC / Next season
« on: April 24, 2011, 03:06:24 PM »
Some people have been saying we should aim for the top 8 and so on, to be honnest i can understand this because we have a top manager but next season is going to be a tough ask again, but i agree it is exciting , this isnt roys team and he is doing wonders with it , i say we need 5 new players , Goalie, right back, another defensive midfielder, A winger, and of course we need another striker, but i would be happy with 16th place next season , stay up next year then i think we could have a go at trying for Europe, but of course we still need one more point to stay up this year :D lets see what the summer brings

22
West Bromwich Albion FC / Jerome Thomas Weight ?
« on: April 24, 2011, 12:08:48 AM »
I thought he did ok today, does anyone think he has  put a few pounds on ? he has looked slow for the past few games in my view, seems that him and Barnes have been hitting the towns together

West Bromwich Albion FC / New kit again
« on: March 20, 2011, 02:50:10 PM »
Well just looked on wba website and the kits have been reduced, anyone else a bit sick of a new kit every year, also a few people on here said we were going to addidas, if so i would be a bit gutted, two many clubs have addidas and most of them have the same basic design.
