Can we please have poll that gives us a snapshot of opinions as to whether Mogga should leave if we fail to make the play offs.

He legged it to Celtic at the first opportunity, so I owe him no loyalty.

You could make one yourself.

I really don't like ****-housery, and Molumby definitely engages in that. People can call it passion, but players can show passion without goading the opposition - and he was clearly doing it before his goal as the highlights show him being pushed away after their disallowed goal.

He's up to four goals for the season, fourth behind Maja, Grant and Mowatt, and ahead of the likes of Swift, Johnston and Fellows.

Was it the original offside or the Wednesday player running in front of Wildsmith that was given? Where was the resultant freekick taken from?

Don't know where else to put this, but could someone at the Assembly have a word about our highlights packages? Is there a time limit that we have to adhere to?

We never include replays of opposition goals, and the highlights from the most recent game don't have Bartley's red card in them! Some insight would be appreciated

Only seen the highlights but it seems like Furlong had a torrid time - all their attacks came down his side.

Wildsmith looked good but also spilled the ball for their goal. Shame Heggem couldn't pull off the double block on the goal line.

Cheers Tom. With so many attacking options it's hard to really criticise that lineup. I'd have preferred Griffiths in goal but hey ho

Head of Recruitment at Southampton is Tony Mowbray's brother.

Shame they are the selling team then  ;)

I do think it's worth noting Griffiths is just 22, and at his age Palmer was on loan to League 2 Plymouth. He didn't break through here until he was 25.

It's just the reality of being below those sides, no mentality is going to change it. I'm sure the likes of Leeds and Sunderland don't like it much either but that's the way of the world.

We have to be much better at selling players to generate funds to be able to improve the squad and make a go of things. That's actually something Brentford could have taught us well. They consistently had their best players taken from them in the championship and used it to invest in a better squad which eventually made the premier league and was able to stay up easily.

I'd hope we at least keep Fellows for the rest of the season but if he does well and attacts prices, then the end of the season the smart choice would be to sell to enable to the investment it'd allow.

I have e to agree. Even when we were in the Premier League, we never backed ourselves to sell and replace talent, so we ended up with an old squad on large wages.

No-one wants Tom to go, but with our PSR predicament, I think we'll see him leave before the end of this financial period, either now in January or in the early summer

Haven’t seen or heard much about Heard this season.  Has he been injured?

He went to Rushall Olympic but got an ankle injury so returned. As yet not clear when he will return

You would hope TM is telling the players to go on with it. No mercy is how I would put it.

Surely Swift and Wallace will get tired so you bring on Price and Diakite. And if Grady gets a third bring on Grant.

If Grady gets a third I'd bring on Bostock

How are we lining up? Who is up front?

That lineup has very "Valero and Greening as a midfield two" vibes to it.

As I have said before, this notion that he "hasn't done it" since his first season conveniently forgets last year when he had 15 goals/assists, which is as good as he did when he was on loan here.

I still wouldn't renew his contract, though.

Not seen much made of the fact there was a foul on Fellows in the build up to their opener and could Diagana of had a penalty?

Have we had a penalty this season? I don't think we've had one for or against.

I did wonder why Fellows was on the floor at the beginning of the highlight for their goal! They move the ball uninterrupted because he's out of position, and even when Diangana gets back instead, Fellows is slow to the ball, so much so that Grady nearly overtakes him. That said, Mowatt has no-one behind him so he should also close down a bit more there.

I hope you're correct. However, I sadly don't think it's that simple.

Diangana was incredible for Bilic but was never the same after his injury. From memory, even Bilic used him less in the Premier League, and he was ineffective under Allardyce. Then there was Ismael, Bruce and Corberan who failed to get a tune out him.

Having said that, last season he did well and was a good player for us. So I think it's a little unfair to blame it on Corberan's rigid system. At this point, common sense says that he's been with 5 managers under us and hasn't really got going very often which is sad but true.

Last year Diangana posted his best season in terms of goals + assists since his first season with us - 15 goals+assists. It was from a larger share of minutes, admittedly, but the idea Corberan didn't get a tune out of him is false. He also wasn't playing next to a guy who has become a Brazilian international

That for me is the only concerning aspect. Great if he's a ball carrier as a big part of our problem has been getting the ball quickly up the pitch, but there has to be an end product. i.e. goals or assists.

As has been pointed out, he has scored for Northern Ireland - a hat trick Vs Bulgaria, one Vs Luxembourg, Slovenia, and Denmark

Scored 6 in 18 for NI national team, some good goals as well. Potentially a more forward thinking Molumby, we desperately need someone who is going to drive the ball forward in the middle of the pitch.

Yes, good point I'd overlooked. He plays further forward for NI, so could well be a shrewd addition

His stats for Leige paint a picture of a ball carrier rather than a passer, though it's always hard to separate a player from the team/system they play in. He isn't an assister or goal-scorer at Liege.
