Felt like todays side was setup so that TM wouldn't need to pick Diakite. I'm sure it wasn't but when managers have their opinions on a player it's hard for their ego to tell themselves they may be wrong and the team suffers.

I'd have gone Diakite ahead of Bartley but I can see why we didn't.  Diakite has only been good in flashes - but he's wildly inconsistent.  He's got a touch of the Ajayi's about him - too prone to make a glaring error.  But like I said, Bartley was awful today and didn't really look fit.

Just not enough quality when we got it forward.  Armstrong needs to score his chance.  Easily the better side today but just didn't put the game to bed.  Thought Heggem was great, Bartley was terrible.

Bartley has been awful all game - he's been off the pace since kick off and it's only because Hull have been so poor that he's got away with it.

Excellent marking and effort from Fellows. We have passed them off the pitch so why change when we get the goal.

We'd already made the changes before we scored.  Since scoring the only sub has been Dike for Armstrong - hardly going to affect our passing fluidity.

Compared to our what, two/three? We’ve hardly been beating the door down…

We kind of have though.  Maybe not quite that strong but Price has gone close a couple of times, Armstrong clipped one over, we've hit the bar with a rocket.

Price needs to do more there - as soon as that ball is hit he's caught ball watching and you can see it happening a mile away.

Got lots of options on the bench though.  I'd maybe stick Fellows on for Mowatt, put Price in the middle and Fellows right wing.  Maybe Dike for Grant as well.

Need more bodies in the box maybe another striker at half time.

Yeah, Hull not offering much threat so I don't think we need to be too concerned defensively.  Go 3 at the back properly and get another player in the middle\up top.

All over them at the moment but just struggling to create that clear chance.

Molumby could have tried that on the volley, but opted to bring it down and give it to Armstrong who clips it over.  Should have scored.

Goals will come here.

One of our best players on the ball.  Can easily play him in a more forward role.

Heggem.  Would be great to get another CH like him as a pair.

It does but you got to parry or punch it if you can't control it. Poor decision

Totally - there was no excuse for not just catching that.  It was a routine save.

Great result.  Thought the entire team played well and we had our chances to win it.
Thought Swift played really well, especially first half. Second half I thought Grant was excellent.

Keeper has ONE save to make all game and it's a routine save but he costs us.

That's why Diakete needs more time.  He had all the time in the world there, about 6 players to give the ball to, and he hits it straight to a Burnley player and we nearly concede.

Price has to hit the target there.  Acres of goal to aim at at the far post.

I wish we got this Swift 9 times out of 10 rather than 1 game in 10.  Him and Grady causing them a lot of problems.

Must be a killer for the team.  Knowing you're up against it but have started really well and scored a cracker.  Then the keeper chucks it into his own net.

Replays were pretty inconclusive for the red. It seemed like the ref was receiving the info maybe from the 3rd official or lino who would’ve been very close by. Shame as it was fairly comfortable albeit a game bereft of chances.

I’d probably take off Fellows for Holgate and as others have said consider Diakite for Molumby too.

Looked like Furlong had braced for a block with the QPR player and made contact with the arm.

Deserved, we've really responded well these last 10 minutes.

And there's our problem. We work it well, Molumby gets into some space down on the right side and you KNOW the cross will be awful.

Poor from Wildsmith - he needed to put his foot through it.  Then Bartley is caught ball watching and not marking his man.  Such a soft goal to concede.

Don't agree with boo'ing of players coming onto pitch or doing good deeds. Bit much. He has been poor value for money this season though.

This really.  His lack of effort is worrying.  Anyone who plays football knows that the worst type of players are those who 'come alive' as soon as they get the ball or a sniff at goal but will just stroll around when you don't have possession...

Fair play to Oxford for going for it.  They caused mayhem in the box for the last corner and anything could have happened for them.

Swap them with Oxford's?  Worth a try.

When they come inside, everyone runs into each other.

Yeah, they all get in each other's way.  Why aren't they practicing for this, we do it so many times a game.  I don't think Fellows has tried to get down the outside all game - if we wanted someone to dribble it on the edge of the box and lose possession we'd play Grady.
