In the days before Megson I was desperate to see the Albion back in the top flight" where they belonged" and was ecstatic when we finally got there but time moves on all the grounds were full and the Prem was everything.
I think that has changed for a lot of supporters grounds are no longer full and the divide is wider than ever being in the championship doesn't bother me the last few years in the Prem under Pulis was dire.

It is nice to challenge for the top and not struggle at the bottom.

Marco Silva changes the game with his substitutions. Darren could learn a thing or ten...

Sounds like Marco was watching Darren at Hillsborough then? Luckily his England keeper had already dug him out of the sh*t.

I do love how staunch you are in your opinion of our Marco  ;D.

Up to 8th in the league now after finally having time to bed in the signings that were made on deadline day. It's ok to admit you were wrong, Jacko. No one will think less of you, it happened with your views on Pulis.

8th... if only he was third...

Pretty sure it didn't. Sacking Pulis got us relegated and he now sits top of the league we are in.

Third...in the Championship. Just wonderful.

Sacking him too late got us relegated, he was taking us down much as you wish to bury your head in the sand. Strange how no Premier League club came beating down the door for him in the summer...

Anyone else find themselves not as interested in the Premier league this year?

Haven't watched as many games as I usually do, Arsenal game on the TV yesterday but chose to do other things round the house.

Same here thus far, mind you I wasn't very interested in the Championship for a number of seasons prior to this one either.

I still record Match Of The Day but yeah my interest in it has waned since we no longer participate in it.

Not watched a single game but then I didn't last year either. Don't even like the Prem when we are in it so zero interest when we aren't.
Then again, i didn't watch the EFL on Quest this week either. I'm incredibly fickle!

My interest in anybody that isn't us has been on the wane for a few seasons now.

I think they know they've reached the point of over saturation with their coverage, but they're tied in to it now.

Arsenal's 3rd goal yesterday was totally sublime. Couple of class touches from Ozil and a nice pass from Lacazette. Other 2 goals not bad either.

Same here, years ago I would watch it on the night, the last year or so I have found myself recording it and just skipping through to the games.

That being said though, I don't watch the EFL programme on Quest either, if im unable to be at the game, ill just watch the highlights on the sky sports app, and then any extra bit that pop up on social media.

Same here pretty much except I don't have the Sky app', I just type 'WBA v Whomever (it happens to be) highlights' into the browser on the laptop and away we go. Regularly watch other Championship team's goals after the Albion's highlights too but I've never watched the EFL programme on Quest.

As someone commented on that article, makes you feel really guilty about illegally streaming matches online doesn't it?

Fulham have been a shambles at the back. A bit unlucky ad well but the writing was on the wall.
