It'll be like trying to stop the siege of troy with playmobil weaponry. I can't see anything but attack after attack and our only hope is that chelsea sit back after scoring and we start to have a little bit of the ball. We all know the possession stats are likely to be incredibly weighted against us.

To be honest; I would much prefer if whoever our front-man is, can anticipate a cross and scramble one over from close-in. The type of chance we have been very poor at converting since lockdown; with only Robinson showing any sign of being alert to these opportunities but isn't the most natural finisher.

Is Ivanovic ready? If so then he plays instead of Bartley. I think this will be the only change other than the enforced one of Townsend for Gibbs. I would not play Field. Sorry but just not up to it against opposition of this quality. Just my view of course....

I don't think they've settled yet and they really aren't the best at the back. Pity we won't have Gallagher's energy and mobility but I'm grasping wildly for hope that we catch a complacent Chelsea off guard and unawares.
