The vile have let in more than us and only scored 5 less than us.

It was shocking how they defended against forest and their keeper seems to be dodgy.

I thought Blose could have scored more against them and they don't appear to be tightening up, so hopefully we can take maximum advantage on the 7th.

Bad results so far, forest & derby all 2-0 up.

Leeds with 3 points at Sheffield united.

Only current good one is Norwich losing at home to Rotherham

After the earlier results I'm hoping for a Villa win in the evening kick off.

It’s rare that I want a Villa win but seeing Pulis stuffed always comes first for me.

I'm dreading Friday. Our record against those clowns is a disaster.

Think it could be anything to 4-1 either way or anything in between next Friday, can’t see a bore draw anyway.

Biggest threat in the league for me now. Got the head coach I wanted us to appoint in the summer and some very good options in midfield and attack. Their keeper is poor and defence is lacking in depth though.

The vile lot don't like attacking sides.
Pulis's lot lot just sat back and vile went rampant....They couldn't believe it wasn't their birthday.
We have to threaten them from the off.

I think they play into our hands a little bit in that a lot like Leeds they push the full backs high up the pitch, if we can win the ball back quickly in midfield then with Barnes & Phillips we have the pace to be able to hurt them on the counter, I fancy our chances next Friday I think they will score if we can hold them to scoring just the 1 goal I think we’l have too much quality for their back line as I’d imagine they are going to give up several decent chances. Either way I think it’l be a cracking game for the neutral full of attacking football.

Boro again offered nothing upfront against the vilest, just like last season in the 2 play off games.

I hate derbies as the disappointment of defeat is terrible.

They beat boro, but boro have only scored 22 all season and left asomablonga and Braithwaite on the bench and their goalie had an off day.

I hope nyland has an off day next Friday.

The 'fraud' of a manager, according to some, that is Dean Smith absolutely annihilating Tony Pulis..

Thoroughly impressed by what he is doing there and extremely worried ahead of Friday.

You only have to look at the decline in Brentford since he left to see how much of a miracle he was working with a poor squad

Watched Boro v Villa last night. Pains me to say this but thought Villa looked decent going forward however Boro barely mustered an attack so not sure how good they are defensively on that evidence. They shipped 5 against Forest so I suspect like most Smith teams they score plenty but give their opponents a chance.

Overall I see Villa as the team most likely to emerge from the pack behind the current top 6 to challenge in the 2nd half of the season.

Villa have also conceded several from set pieces haven't they ? Not that we want to rely on those too much.

Leeds came from behind to win. Ten man Boro took a point. Norwich are on one of those runs where they can do no wrong. Bolton equalised in the 88th minute only to then get a red card and concede a 94th minute winner at Carrow Road. Derby have also won and Sheffield United play in the evening kick off. Not a great weekend for us.

Norwich take lead in injury time and Leeds scrape a win. We lose more ground on automatic promotion. Bit of a worry that Norwich and Leeds starting to break away.

Don't forget we've beaten Norwich and Leeds already.
Plenty of time for us to catchup.
They lose and draw and we win and its neck and neck again.
Be positive eh?

I often think that some on here dont want to think positive! This is an incredibly tough division.
