The best player this club has had in my lifetime. If we’d signed him 5 years before he’d have been a 25m pound player at a top 4 club

Confused by the negativity to Adkins. He did an unbelievable job at Southampton and was pretty much shafted in losing his job there although no one can argue in hindsight Pochettino is a phenomenal manager. Double promotion when they were ' on their a**e in league 1 is not to be underestimated.

Granted he didn't rip up trees at Reading or Sheff Utd but I would argue he was probably scarred from his very harsh dismassal from Southampton.

He has done a quality job at Hull who were in an even worse state than we are likely to be when he got there. If not for a very slow start they would likely have made the play offs.

Naturally a very positive guy, with a promotion on his CV from the championship in the not too distant past, still hungry with vast experience of the league crucially though with a point to prove.

Personally think he'd be an excellent choice. Him or Hughton for me are the best candidates to take over the 'current' Albion.

I am frankly astonished at the treatment so far of Moore.

If a guy had swooped in last season from Italy named Guiseppie Le Vazzio to make the Big Dave did the masses would not be making the noises so many are making already.

He is a victim of being a relative novice and not being the most articulate speaker as much as anything.

Please think back to what he actually did last season when we were the laughing stock of the entire of English Football.

Its game 2 and we have a lot of turbulence around the playing squad yes, we got a bloodied nose against a side we should be taking care of at home.

We then go to a TOP side in the division and get outplayed for the most part but rally to the point we actually can count ourselves unlucky not to win. Very unlucky.

He clearly addressed some issues from the 1st game ( Nyom, HRK, Including ,Mozza - shape ) and showed hes not a stubborn so and so.

If a side and manager has ever needed time in my 25 years supporting the Albion it is this 1.

For the love of god, will the so called supporters already belly aching saying its all a big mistake appointing Moore give him the chance he so clearly deserves.

If we are well outside the top 6 at Christmas there will be a cause for concern but until then get behind your club and the manager that put the pride back into us.

Albion Matchday Forum / Pre Match Pint & Parking

Hi All

Just wondering where people generally go for pre match beverage. I was going to go meadow lane way as I hear that’s where the away friendly pubs are. One of our lot is on crutches though so I’m guessing parking there leaves a fair old trek for our limper.

Any advice appreciated

not completely sure about moutinho, hes obviously been a superb footballer, but 31 is definitely past his best and he will only decline from here - the premier league is unforgiving.

also dont think the level of excitement will be matched by the player.

risky signing at massive wages for me

9
superb statement - now give him a 4 year deal

Pay whatever it takes to go and get Gary Rowett off derby.

One of the best young managers around, English, midland boy, fighting spirit, grity, passionate and worked with limited funds and playing staff.

Perfect fit and easily my 1st choice.

We have to be a gateway club for the best championship managers as we ain't ever going to poach the likes of Dyche or Rogers (dream on )

Would also take a calculated risk with Pearson as he plays good solid footy but is a bit of a loose cannon getting players round the throat etc.

Livermore needs a game or 2 out and a kick up the backside. He's a passenger at the moment. Nyom was fantastic if his final ball improved hed be a 20m pound player. Tenacity reminds me of a young Mulumbu.

Rondon worked his backside off and couldnt have done much more really. Hegez must have missed the shout but lets be fair, hes been colossal until that point. Not like a dodgy Lugano signing is it.

To be honest, I'd take delph as a straight swap. Put the villa rubbish aside, he's a seriously good player. Can't imagine we'd do his wages in a million years though

I'm not sure that's arrogance, city fans didn't sign any of those players.  Also I'm not convinced he is better than those mentioned. I like Evans , he's as good as I've seen down the Albion but city are in a different league completely. I'm surprised they're looking at him to be honest.

Arrogance is what they are writing on their forum. Go check it out. He is easily better than all those defenders for me, not even debatable. But yes, all about opinions

Just had a look at the blue moon forum. When did they start becoming Man U fans?? Unbelievable arrogance.

Wouldn't mind if he wasn't TEN TIMES the player Ota bloody mendi is.

If he does go I will be very sad indeed but how can you stand in his way. 25m is about right in today's market for me. No less.

If he does go, I can't wait to revisit their forum and see them eating their words.

A defender that belongs in a top 4 side sadly.

I'm not against looking into it, but do I think the effected footballers would in hindsight have changed anything? I don't to be honest. I think more money in the game needs to be set aside for families of footballers themselves that fall on very hard times and for the footballers themselves.

Unfortunately there are risks to most things in life that are enjoyable.
