And yet a poor man's radio shock jock goes unchallenged by the same club when allegations of implied racial bias/prejudice are broadcast live to hundreds of thousands, if not millions of listeners  :-X .

That one did annoy me. Club were spineless in their lack of response to that - although they would argue they don't want to give him the legitimacy.

But woe betide the 'little man' with the alleged 'dirty face' and no legal team  ;) .

People need to be careful with this - unless someone is willing to step forward as "the source" to confirm it or there is a direct quote recorded/written down somewhere then it is a dangerous game to accuse him of saying it.

Lawsuits abound.

No one is saying accuse him of saying it.
But we should ask him if he did.

Still hearsay though. I’ll be needing a direct quote, or preferably a recording, before I start putting a cross up and sharpening nails.  ;)

Hence my allegedly comment. I have only had the misfortune to speak to him on the phone once many years ago now, not the most pleasant and friendly conversation i've ever had.

Not really the conversation was on Twitter, well in the public domain a week or so ago. We are possibly the most careful website around when it comes to libelous/ slanderous comments so if there was any doubt then I would not have posted it.

Oh don't worry, I know this board is generally careful with such things  :)   Wasn't aware of the twitter talk as haven't seen it. Did have a quick search just now but could't find anything of note.

Got a link?  ;D

I think we should drop this whole did he didn't he conversation with regards to what Jenkins "allegedly" says. It's all hearsay and the club won't admit to it. Onto more pressing matters have the club published the minutes from the latest meeting yet?

would've thought the question Why haven't we got a manager would be on the agenda, isn't that the most important thing not going on at the club right now.

What a shambles! Either the talk of the current situation has been taken out of the minutes or the ‘chosen few’ are too scared to upset the hierarchy and lose their place. Knock it on the head!!

Lots of moans about the Assembly on here, how many have ever been to a meeting? and if not why not apply to become one of the Assembly members to actually hear and see what goes on.

Didnt the term 'the great unwashed' used to be used as term regarding the working classes. Dont think it was seen as derogatory, but obviously better terms to use if it is true.

quote from the minutes
'Recent incidents of supporters being struck by balls during pre-match practice were raised. Although the club have no plans to extend goal-side safety nets it was agreed it can do more to caution fans.'

shows how bad their shooting is  ;D

Not being funny but you only have to read the meeting minutes to see what an absolute waste of time it is.
The head coach's office will be renamed the Everiss Suite
Fans being struck by balls. Oh dear
The clubs carbon footprint.
All cutting edge stuff
Not a word about wheres the manager or is Lai planning on making an appearance or comment on his future plans for the club

The season ticket issue was addressed & the club admitted that they could have communicated it better.

As I understand it, forum members represent the fans, & Items for the agenda are always asked for before each meeting.
We had the chance to put the GL & manager situation on the agenda.

I don't mean to sound too critical but why didn't you? They seem like the two issues that fans would most like some feedback on, that and why general communication between the club and fans is so poor.

aren’t agenda items only suggested before the assembly, doesn’t necessarily mean they will be accepted and added to the agenda to be  discussed, I imagine a lot of points people want raise are “off limits” and aren’t purposely aren’t discussed.

Thats all well and good but have they amended the 'stump up before the end of April or you will lose your seat' stance?

Genuine question as I do not know.
