Harper or Livermore next to Morrison in the centre of midfield would be my preference. If the squad players have another good game, it might start to push Moore and his team to shake things up a bit.

Picked with the Stoke game in mind which obviously receives priority. If we go three at the back it does give us the option of making only one half time change at the back (inuries permitting). You can choose from Dawson. Hegazi and Barley how you use them. Personally, I'd go Bartley one halfand Hegazi the other. At least if one does get injured you can still use Dawson at right back on the Saturday (I've gone 4-2-3-1 for that game) and Adarabioyo can come in at centre back if necessary. I've been revolutionary and given Gaz Baz a new role for this game only. I think he'll be fine left side of a three at the back.

In midfield, Brunt is replaced by Field for the Stoke game so Brunty gets a start here. Clearly it's not his position but it's Mansfield at home in a cup that's low priority.

I have to be honest I'm looking forward to this game more so than the league games.
We should see some of the youth and a bit of sparkle in the middle of the park instead of a midfield that looks sideways and back for most of the time

Important game for numerous reasons.

1) favourable draw for us so we should be looking to progress
2) opportunity for Dawson to get 90 minutes
3) opportunity for Burke and some of fringe players to get game time. Hopefully Harper or field impress in cm so we can see a break in the brunt/Livermore axis
4) restore confidence pre stoke game

Think that would be about right. However I would rather us rest Barnes for stoke game and play Morrison.
We really need another option on the right as we will burn Phillips out- think Edwards played there for 45 minutes in previous round? I wonder if it will be Harper in cm

Impossible to pick what Moore will go for as he may want Field played in the back 3 again.

My personal choice would be Bond in goal, a back 3 or Toisin, Dawson and Bartley

Field and Barry/Morrison as central midfielders

Barnes/Morrison/Burke in the advanced midfield position

Townsend and either Phillips/Chadli/Edwards/Leko as wide on the right

Any of HRK/Rodriguez/Burke/Gayle/Edwards/Chadli up front

Would also be open to a tactical tweak of 1 up front and 2 men behind, maybe Morrison/Chadli/Burke

Also want Harper to get some game time in the centre, be that from the bench or a start.

As others have said, this is an important match. Surely Chadli and Dawson need to be playing to get their fitness back. Would love to see some more of the younger players having a part, and of course Burke.

Frustrating that the club didn't release ST seats until way after Wednesday. They announced 5pm Weds as being the deadline but I went on to buy tickets Weds eve and none were available in the middle of the Halfords so I bought one further down. Went on tonight and saw loads available in C1.

Just wait until kick off and wander over to an empty seat(s) happened a lot in the Smeth last cup game

I would agree with this line up.

Only change I would probably look at is resting Barnes and maybe playing Morrison/Edwards/Harper or even Chadli if hes 'fit.'
