Think someone said that Gmac, Gibbs and Yacob played against Walsall last night which, if true, suggests they won't play, probably means same back 4 and middle 3 as Brighton. If so, game over.

None of Gibbs, Yacob or McAuley played against Walsall last night, so some/all might start for us tonight.

won't be the same defensive midfield 3 either as Livermore is resting.

Haven't been able to go up for a while so I'm looking forward to going. I'll probably put some updates on my Twitter if no one can get any radio coverage.

I don't think city will be at full strength, but I think they'll just edge it.

Just had a look on your twitter feed.

You appear to have a pretty good view from behind your drums.

Probably a good thing you have a pair of drum sticks in your hands when performing publicly really  ;D .
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

And if he gets injured!?

In the game or in the season generally?

I don't feel Myhill playing this one game is going to make all that much difference if Foster gets injured in a month and a halfs time.

Biggest game of the season so far.

Full strength side please, which includes not playing 3 midfielders in the holding role.

Really hope we can cause an upset as it will be a long wait until the start of January if we get knocked out

That's a relief. Hope to see Nyom at RB and Gibbs LB.
Wouldn't mind seeing Barry and Yacob in the middle, allowing Greg a more forward role.
Shame Burke and Chadli both out as I think our only chance is on the break but we are really lacking pace.
Looking at their potential line ups though, I don't give us a cat in hell's chance. Hope I'm wrong, would love a cup run.

if we dont play a middle three I'm sorry to say it but we will be absolutely overrun in the midfield, we dont have pace and if theres one thing city have its an abundance from pace.

If there is an attacking team played by us we will get absolutely mullered.

got to try and catch them on the break or from a set piece id say.

100% agree, all you hear is 'why don't we go for the cup' & 'we need a cup run'.

Home match comes in the 3rd round at £15/£10 a pop and by the look of it hardly anyone can be arsed. Sure they will be the first ones calling for the managers head and everything else if the players don't turn up though!
I ain't missed a home game for over 20 years, but after Saturday I can't be arsed to rush back from London to watch a game that won't be taken seriously and a game in which we will try and hang on for penalties and be there till after 11 O'Clock then go back to London under Pulis them days have gone!

Playing two defensive holding midfielders is still a defensive team in my opinion which is indeed needed for tonight.

Then we also still have the defensive options on the bench to bring on Yacob for Morrison/Chadli if we are fortunate enough to be 1-0 up with 20 minutes to go in the game.

Playing for a 0-0 every week may be an ok, if not soul destroying, strategy for the greed league, but we have to go out and win every cup game if we want the honours.

Other than one game whilst on holiday and another on business tonight will be the first home game I have missed in 18 years.

Decided to go and watch an under 18 floodlit game instead.

Hopefully come 10pm tonight people will be telling me what a fantastic game I missed.
It is not the taking part, but the winning that counts.

Now that's the sort of out of the box thinking that might just catch them unprepared.

I can live with 3 CM's against a team like City, would love to see Jacob in there with Barry and Krychowiak with the Polish playing a bit forward. But if you're going to play 3 CM's then you HAVE GOT to play proper fullbacks. Something has to give.
