All the calls for ajayi to be the defensive saviour yes he has pace but every game he has a mistake in him just like all the rest of the defenders he is not good enough.we need to be bringing in new cbs as its been the same players and same mistakes for the last 3 seasons.

I hope he's allowed to bring in all the assistants that he wants to, it's going to be his neck that's on the block when it comes down to it, so he should be able to do whatever he feels he needs to with his backroom staff to give him the best chance of success.
Completely agree any manager/head coach should always bring there own staff in and not be forced to work with people at the club

Keith Downing would be a better choice than what's being mentioned
I can get over the wolves connection if he had Paul Cooke has his assistant.
Jesus dingle dowling desperate times.. Some fans will literally accept any old rubbish

got Oxford promoted and kept them there on a shoestring while reducing the age of the team, also got runners up in the EFL Trophy twice in a row. He is unbeaten in the PL (albeit that’s only two games :D)and most recently got a Lincoln City team to the playoff finals (somewhere they absolutely had no right to be, a good season would’ve been to not be in the bottom half) while again reducing the age of the team rapidly and having to rely on youth players and loans to do so. He’s been successful whenever he hasn’t been at a total basket case of a club.

Irvine had literally nothing to his name outside being a good coach. To say Appleton has nothing is disingenuous, just because he doesn’t have the silverware. Clarke and Di Matteo were closer to Irvine than Appleton is.

I don’t think it should be Appy, but he’s not a bad option.

So he has alot of runner up medals and that's about it done nothing past league. If that's the new success and ex albion then he's a good candidate.not a bad option that should say he shouldn't be an option joke that even considered

Shud have retired years ago when his legs went instead of been sat on the bench for 3 years picking up a wage.its ok adding all these ex players in coaching positions but not adding any experience at all is a recipe for disaster.no wonder academy isn't any good anymore

It'll be an absolute joke if he gets another contract. What an awful player. I have always thought he was utter dog cack.
Totally agree get rid lived off 1 goal for long enough absolute donkey

I hope Nixon is right and we "miss out on Wilder". We used to have a bilingual intelligent progressive coach who commanded the respect of the team and earned promotion from the championship. Shame on the board and all the fans who cheered on replacing him.
Get a grip that's the worst albion team for fitness and fight I've seen.. Complete bottle jobs we were lucky to get out of the championship with bilic

Has he got 5 mins to show a few how to take corners ? ;D
Can teach people how to throw arms in the air aswell.. Another sentimental move but doesn't make him a decent coach.. Filling the club with all ex players... And not qualified coaches will end badly

You mean he couldn't find a pass or a cross or a shot or any space or anything else. And don't give me he's playing out position that's no excuse not know what to do with the ball, and it wasn't only Thursday night he as been poor either.
Funny when brunt was playing out of position then it wasn't his  couldn't tackle or pass or run.. To be fair couldn't do anything he was rubbish but that was the managers fault

Indeed legend boy can keep on drawing £50k at least on the bench whilst wolfing on a mars bar everytime Slaven isn't looking.

The more useless passengers the better.
Yep just got rid of one benchwarmer on good money been sat there for couple of years but everybody excepted the wand doing it

If he is staying it is terrible news. Not because of him as a player as such but because it doesn't seem like Bilic wants him.

If he is staying that more likely means it is another £40k per week we will be spending for very little return.
Chris brunt was doing it for years and got away with it.. And kanu useless plank

I just wish people would realise that because they wore the shirt, it doesn’t necessarily mean they should stay on the payroll.
Alot of albion fans are sentimental they will be calling for brunt to be manager for the next 10years...the club needs good coaches not just ex players

It's year 2040 and some west Brom fans still want brunt to play cause he is loyal and can take a corner... No wonder we never move on his legs have gone and he can't tackle just the reason why we lost in play offs.. The legend the wand Chris brunt

Just seen he's trending on Twitter. Opta have published the top Premier League stats for the decade, and he's tenth on the assists list, leading to a bit of admiration (and some incredulity) from fans.
Not suprised really when nobody else was allowed to take any set piece especially when we was playing land of the giants football most of our goals put the ball in the box and hope someone gets on the end of... Hasn't done anything for about 4 seasons and can't wait for him to leave in May.. Overrated

Wrong team for me today, Edwards I don’t rate at all, coupled with Ferguson not having a left foot made our left side weak. Rightly both hooked at HT but should not have started. Barry nowhere near the pace and Kanu looked knackered up top.

Signings definitely needed to beef up the squad, December has been very lacklustre

Hrk back to been a donkey.. Needs to go back on the bench very quickly his career good 6 games are over

It's right that we offered to look after him, but probably better that he has gone.
I'd suspect that Brunt will be worried now, the old boys club is definitely being dismantled

Last one of the old guard to go now is brunt and won't be to long. All those that left from shan to academy staff thank you for leaving cause thanks to you lot  we are now building something good..enjoy kiddy we will enjoy the Premier league
