All games are winnable in this seasons league. No doubt our small time fans will write off our chances against the mighty big four though.

Well if you predict no wins and only a few draws what did you expect it to look like?

We had a difficult start and did well, and a ok last few months and have been awful. You really can't judge.

No doubt the games are tough but you've got to think but Arsenal are the only team there who are particularly scary at this moment in time. Maybe Chelsea but there's no reason we can't take anything off them given how they've played this season. The rest are really nothing to say "definitely not going to take anything from."

Just wrote an article about exactly the same thing.

Out of them lot only Blues, Wolves, Everton & Newcastle are winnable imo.

All of them are winnable games. We beat Arsenal and Everton away. Who there is better than Arsenal away?

Wolves this season have beat Man City, Man U, Chelsea, and Liverpool and sit 3 points behind us.

But no we should give up naturally.

Might not be the worst thing playing the big teams, they may have half an eye on other competitions. I'd say we have a 50/ 50 chance of staying up at the minute.

Not Stoke or Villa.

Based on what? Some old hoodoo curse put on us years ago by the Footballing Gods? Get real, they are both beatable.

Nothing is bleak when you look at this seasons result across all clubs, we have not lost at home to Wigan, Wolves or West Ham that could be very decisive come the end of the season

Just look at Wolves they beat Chelsea , Man City,Man United and Liverpool :o  am sure we can get something out of the chelsea game and also Liverpool, wigan went to spurs and won, and of course we went to the emirates and won, And we seem to up our game against the big teams ,we really struggle against teams like stoke blackburn because we cant break them down and we have a rubbish defense, we were also very unlucky against man u at home, we just need a bit of luck, i think

16 th WBA   36
17th Blackpool 35
18th Wolves 33
19th West Ham 33
20th Wigan 32

How people can say no to these games is beyond me. Theres a mentality going into relegation battles that goals cannot be shipped; and therefore this piles the pressure on both teams in these games, but especially the home side. The games against west ham, wigan and wolves were always going to be tricky, because we are in the bottom 4 both us and the away sides felt like we could pinch something. Nerves took their toll, which would happen in a 'loser goes down' situation. Playing the bigger teams is different though. You feel like you have nothing to lose, you give it a good go without having to live up to expectation. Being the underdog is a nicer situation, and thats why i look at the upcoming fixtures and think that we are being bleak because we have had a bad run of late, and need to think we can get something from these games. Onwards and upwards, i believe Velas late goal could be a sign of better and more potential. COYB

I think it's that time of the year when I do a BBC Football predictor!

Got this...

16. Wolves - 39 points
17. Albion - 37 points
18. Blackpool - 36 points
19. West Ham - 34 points
20. Wigan - 30 points

Wins against Everton & Newcastle, draws against Spurs & Blues, lose the rest.

Still though, I can't see us beating Arsenal again and Liverpool always beat us. Only games we could 'upset the odds' are Sunderland & Spurs imo, maybe Chelsea at home at a push.

What a silly thing to say, Liverpool were always at worst a top 4 club when we've played them before. They're far from that now. Even with their recent upturn in form Wigan took a point off them last match, so why should we role over?

We might as well only play 14 games a season if you're anything to go by.

If Wigan, West Ham and Wolves at home are no longer winnable, it does make you wonder who we would need to play to find a winnable game.

Steady on, we've never scored a PL goal against Liverpool let alone got any points from them.

I'm just saying in general the top teams don't slip up as much at this time in the season as opposed to at the start of the season imo.

On the contrary with competitions (particularly Europe) at the serious stages now, and the pressure of the run in, now is the time teams usually slip up. Arsenal most regularly.

Hopefully they'll surprise me.  :)

I think everything is so unpredictable at the moment it's hard to tell what's going to happen. I really don't know how it's going to play out.
I've got those West Bromwich Blues!

Agreed. "Hoodoos" do come to an end eventually. Three wins and three draws would see us safe.

No doubt we are in a hole, but not one that we can not dig ourselves out of, 3 wins and 3 draws and we will survive.

I think all games are winnable this season. Even the big guns aren't guaranteed to win, they aren't as consistent as usual seasons. Our problem is getting a run of form because we have proved that we are capable of doing well against any team.

There is too much obsession with not getting results against the bottom sides. The big factor now is we did not lose against them so are not adrift at all.

Today's result was a good one on so much that it dented wolves, and has given Roy a bit of breathing space to work with them.

Here's hoping anyway.

I read many posts stating our winnable games are drifting away...
Why cant we beat Stoke,Bloos or the Vile...
Why cant we beat Arsenal Everton or Liverpool...
Why cant we get a result on the last day to keep us up....
We can beat anybody on the day and i expect us to do just that under Roy...
Saw enough yeterday to know we are going to be harder to beat under him...
And we are always good for a goal...
Too much pessimisim on here...
Thought the Dings were chronic yesterday but they appear to think they are staying up...
Bizarre.....

We are good enough to finish 17th.If we want it we will beat Liverpool,Villa and Everton at home, possibly get a result against Chelsea if they are out of it by then.We can get some sort of  result at both Stoke and Blues Wolves Sunderland and the Toon.If the players want it we will stay up but they need to be performing at their best pre Blackpool away
