Official Europa League thread
« on: August 07, 2014, 09:29:51 PM »
Celtic drop down to this after losing their Champions League qualifier yesterday.

St. Johnstone lost 3-2 on aggregate to Trnava. ( WHO  ;D )

Hull qualify for the next round after a 2-1 aggregate win against Trencin.

Aberdeen currently going out against Real Sociedad, 4-2 on aggregate.

Seeing albion away in europe would be a dream come true but i can see the point that it could ruin the league form.

Now hull are through to the playoffs,i read today that they could draw inter milan or villereal.

Now if i were a hull fan id love to get milan, have that awesome lads holiday watching albion and go out fighting. There not going to win it so going out to inter milan in the play offs would be perfect (if it were us)

Awesome europearn adventure and the premier league season intact.

I want Hull to be in the Europa league for as long as possible. It drains their team and is good for nothing. I think by the time they will play their first Premier League game they'll have already played 4 competitive ties, some in obscure parts of Europe. Practically every team that gets Europa football falls a few places lower the following season, so hopefully Hull will be no different.

Hull are nailed on to go down for me unless they spend very big in January. Long live the Europa League.

Most of the Hull fans I speak to are saying pretty much that. They just want to get into the competition proper, play against some decent(big) sides and have a bit of a European adventure and have some stories of when they qualified for Europe....because it's not likely to happen again!!!

Celtic drop down to this after losing their Champions League qualifier yesterday.

Celtic have been awarded the 2nd leg as a 3-0 win because Legia Warsaw fielded an ineligible player so Celtic are still in Champions league.

If they have fielded an ineligible player then they should be kicked out.

However if Celtic get beaten home and away 6-1 on aggregate then they will not fair any better when it comes to the next round as they are simply not good enough

Got into the competition through fair play league and have three red cards in five games.

Just wondering, how did Izzy Brown get along while his loan side were being thumped by Southampton?
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.
