Queen Elizabeth ii
« on: September 08, 2022, 03:50:31 PM »
It sounds like the Queen is in a bad way. Under doctor supervision and all her children have gone.

I'm not a royalist at all, but as far as I'm concerned the Queen has always acted in a respectful and dignified way. As you'd expect, some of the rubbish on twitter is disgusting

The Queen is under 'medical supervision' but with all members of the immediate family making their way to Balmoral it looks like it could be a bit more than that.

God save the Queen.

Without being cynical, I think we've had this scenario a few times before from memory? She is very tough and may pull through like before. Mind you, she is very old now.

Nothing like this before, the BBC are in black, members of the household and family are there or on their way to Balmoral. Notes passed to the PM during parliament. I think we are on the verge of an announcement. Hopefully this is wrong though.

I don't think it would have gone out like this if it wasn't very serious.

I'm not a Royalist but have admiration for the Queen and time for a few others but it will be a sad say when she goes which I think will be very soon if not today given the news that is coming out. I did notice that around mid-day Sky reporters suddenly started wearing black jackets and ties so something more serious is going on.

Some of the bile on Twitter is to be expected as the place is a cesspit.

Unfortunately, there is a section of our society that lack any decency or morals we all know who they are.
Thankfully the majority respect the Queen and the brilliant job she has done for 70yrs.

RIP Her Majesty I will remember what I was doing I was reconfiguring Aircraft on my Airlines Game on my phone thought I heard Hue Edwards say she was dead looked up saw the flag drop and knew. I was literally thinking my Dad might want to go out now with my Stepmum and get anything they need because she won't have long left and the shops will close when she dies and then half an hour maybe an later it was announced she had. RIP Her Majesty

RIP.

Surprised how it’s hit me as I’m far from a great fan of the royal family.

Far from a royalist and honestly wouldn't be sad to see the monarchy abolished, but this has made me far sadder than I expected. It is a very sad day for the UK, RIP.

Such a shame, but a hell of an age for her regardless. Just hope she was peaceful at the end, it’s all you can hope for.
