Well here we are, still in our hands, as it was 3 losses ago! Probably needing a win at home to guarantee 6th unless Plymouth do us a favour against Hull.
We all feared this would be the case, we don't half make it hard on ourselves.
We only need a point from Preston to guarantee 6th spot unless Hull win by 12 goals.
Obviously we can't go into the game thinking a point will do as that kind of thinking will most likely end in defeat.
I want to see us start quickly and create chances. If we can score early then it should calm everyone down a bit too...us fans included.
As fans we need to make it as hostile an atmosphere for Preston as we can.

Well I admire your optimism, got to hand that to you.

I don't understand how, striker or not, we can put in a performance like we did against Leicester and then bottle 'easier' games. That is why we are not good enough.

I also proposed the concept that Preston were ' on a roll' a few games ago and likely competitors, only to see them lose every game afterwards without scoring a single goal. Of course that means we will have an easy game on Saturday....of course it doesn't and i can equally see us drawing 0-0 with a minute to go and conceding with the last kick of the match. That would be utterly typical.

Would it
I don’t understand why so many albion fans go to the matches when it’s very clear that quite a few have an assumption that we will definitely lose?

If we are so bad how did we ruin Fergies last game?
Did we ever beat the dingles 5-1 in the custard Bowel
Sharner at the seal pen
1968
Taylor & Hamilton
Nicky Reid
Etc etc

It’ll be ok

I reckon 73 would be enough, but ideally I'd take 75.

How am I doing?

I think 75 points will be enough to lock up 6th. We should be able to get at least that and with luck have that before we go into the last 3 games. It is absolutely in our hands.

Spot on Standaman - take a bow. Unfortunately we didn’t do it before the 3 last games so had us sweating.

Today was thrilling all because of it though.

Please do it Albion!!! Give Shilen some extra funds to build us back to what we were....
