Well before Mowbray though . He will be the type we will sign so I’d imagine he was there for us

If M’Vila signed I doubt he would be anything more than cover for Chalobah & Yokuslu due to Molumby being out long term. Couldn’t see us letting anyone leave.

M'Vila hasn't played since leaving Olympiacos in the summer so despite his undoubted pedigree I doubt he will be anything other than a back up option.

We're all suggesting M'Vila, but I'd be expecting Josh Onoma, Jack Price, or a return for Stefan Johannson on our budget.

Think M’Vila is only being spoke about because someone suggested he was at the game yesterday

M'Vila is a 33 year old who's been without a club all season, I can't imagine he's in a position to dictate much.

If there is anything to it, i'm pretty skeptical anyone who's been without a club for so long is really going to add anything to our season, coupled with the pretty horrendous record of free agents we've signed at the end or outside the transfer window - there's pretty much always a good reason they're available. To that extent I hope any frees we sign are on sensible contract (certainly no Martin Kelly-esque shambles).

I’m not just suggesting it I saw him with my own two eyes before the game as he arrived in a car with a club staff member on the school car park and had a conversation with the driver the club hired to take him back to the airport half way through the second half. Same driver picked him up on Friday from the airport to take him to the training ground.

I’m not saying we’ll sign him 100% but we have definitely had talks.

There's a reason someone like M'Vila is without a club since last summer and it isn't wanting to wait for his boyhood club West Brom to come in for him for his last hurrah.

We wouldn’t be signing him for millions to start every match
He’s a very decent pedIgree, is available on a free and means that chalobah/Yokuslu and mowatt won’t bE forced to play when Exhausted

Is he fit and match ready? I’d hope that’s something our medical team would assess very carefully. We don’t need another leader in the dressing room!

Doesn't seem to have played since May last season, Sunderland were linked with him and he claimed they were the only club he would drop down a division for, bit rich when you ain't got a club to try and dictate what league you will go in.

very skeptical on the practicalities of this potential deal.

He's been practically non-active since July of 2023 that I can see. To say he'll be rusty is a massive understatement.
That said, four months is nothing in terms of risk so maybe it'll be worthwhile. My head says it'll be another Sako style pointless signing.

Ultimately just cover for Molumby really. Hopefully he wouldn’t have to do too much but add an option from the bench if needed.
