I’ve only watched the second half but we’ve been excellent. A bit more movement upfront would be nice though.

Must have been one of the few times we have beaten a team from a lower division.

Still in the hat for the next draw along with game time for some of our younger lads so a good result if not a great performance

Anyone know when the draw is?

On Thursday, on Sky (about 7pm) before they show Sunderland v Sheffield Wednesday.
It will, again, be split into North/South geographical sides of the draw, without seeding.
We were in the southern side for round one, and will see what is decided tomorrow after the addition of the non-european competing Premier League teams and who is out already.

In the next round of the draw.
Plenty of minutes for the youth.
Burke first goal and a full game.
Clean sheet.
2 wins on the bounce.

We were completely dominant from what i saw. If we didnt have HRK upfront we would've scored more. Lots of midfield possession and movement but little up front.

Thoroughly enjoyed that. Moore experimented with a different system and gave 90 minutes to nearly all the fringe players. Excellent management. Following on from my halftime comment Field was excellent 2nd half and Harper grew into the game. Mozza controlled everything.

Kanu though was woeful. Literally nothing stuck and he missed 3 absolute sitters and another presentable chance.

Yep we dominated that and created 3 or 4 clear cut chances that anyone but HRK would have put away. I never understand why we don’t just start with our strong strikers then take them off once we’re 2 or 3 up.

Interesting how we normally complain when a manager doesn't take the cup seriously...

Great to see Moore experiment with something new (had a feelinf we would see the 3 at the back before long ad I have said a couple of times)

Even better to see us have so many young players in the team (Toisin, Field, Burke, Leko, Harper, Edwards and Barnes all around 20 years of age).

Given the changes and youth in the side, that's a great win.

Does anyone proof read anything before publishing these days? Other than that I agree with most of what he says

Interesting Field playing centre back. I think his defensive qualities are better than his attacking ones.
