What a totally enthralling game.

If RDM could have got our defence playing like that he'd still be here and we'd be top 6

Well done Chelsea. Always support English clubs in Europe and they kind of typify how England could win a Major trophy. Yes it aint pretty but its effective and something our natiojnal team should work towards rather than trying to match obviously better technical players.

Ashley Cole was brilliant in both legs.. yes he's a bit of a T***, but there's no better LB in the world.
It is a mistake to theorize before one has the facts. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts.

Madrid leading Bayern Munich 1-0. Ronaldo from the penalty spot.

Good game so far. Potentially Mourinho v Chelsea in the final.

2-0 now infact. Madrid leading 3-2 on aggregate.

Fantastic football, Madrid on this form would be a tough test for Chelsea considering they will be without four of their key players.

I saw an article saying Roberto spent a lot of time last year around Europe topping up on his coaching.

We simply had him a couple of years too early. Imagine if we had had him when he knew about both defence and offence :)

I think the final will be much more interesting with Bayern vs Chelski. It's great how neither Barca or Real progressed past the semi final stage.

They should get a heads up warning in the space station for that Ramos penalty absolute shocker. Was it in any doubt though when it went to penalties, Germans just don't loose at them

Very good semi final overall I thought, never quite hit the heights of the first half but I wonder how fatigued the Madrid players were after the El Classico on Saturday. Dissapointing penalties in the shoot out which addded to the tension and excitement. I'm a bit gutted Mourinho won't have chance to shove one up Roman but never mind.

Bayern or Chelsea? Germany vs England? - Come on Chelsea. I couldn't stand their arrogance if they won, but any English victory over the Germans is one which should be celebrated.

sorry but I am going to have to be different to everyone else here and hope that Bayern Munich to win. I can't buy into this Germany vs England rubbish because it's not, it's Bayern Munich vs Chelsea. I'd love nothing more than to see John Terry and Drogba crying after they lose another champions league final  ;D

Wasnt the Liverpool / Roma final in the 80's at Roma's ground. I know it wasnt the Champions League then but it was the European Cup I think ?

Thats correct, my wife & I were in Rome and got some tickets for this final.

Didn't Feyenoord beat Celtic 2-1 in European Cup final in 1969 at their own ground?

Who we got tonight then fella's 2-1 Chelsea on penalties. I think it will be a tight defensive display from Chelsea with Bayern controlling the game

Can only see Bayern winning. 3-0.

I hate Terry and Cole - cannot support Chelsea because of it.

2-1 to Chelsea. Tight defensive display by Chelsea, they get a goal from a set-piece in the first half, try and hold onto it, Bayern equalise midway into the second half, Chelsea nick it late into the game.
