Walsall were being offered at 4/5 to win and once i saw the team we put out it was near certain.

Very easy money.

It's a shame for the guys left that all the good ones go out on loan. It must be very hard to motivate the left behind. No wonder they lose alot at the moment.

Was 11/10 earlier in the day, Very easy mone :D

Asking a lot of the players, Not sure when they landed but Jetlag and game time over in that heat with training, surely doesnt want the players to have 90mins straight after, Asking for injuries

Loads of team do pre season training in Austria due to the lovely locations which are on offer, I havent read of many other clubs doing 5am bike rides ( Yes i do read a lot of articles on pre season training for clubs as its part of what i do) Most clubs go out there, and also play a few games, Surely better to play a couple of friendlies than do 5am bike ride hills, Didnt no we were training for the tour de france

Well he's in the under 19's but he's not in their squad for their  Euro's either, but I suspect the reason for that is Pulis has pulled him out to keep him out as it clashes with pre-season. He was actually one of England's best players in their recent qualifiers.

In more surprisingly positive England news, they've also reached the final of the Toulon tournament for the second year running, also adding on to making the finals of the 2017 under 17 euro's which they lost on penalties after a keeper mistake in that last minute. This is unprecedented youth success for England who've historically done poorly at these tournaments, fingers can only be pointed at the clubs if they fail to break through. It'll be a crying shame because England are the equal of anyone at youth levels these days, after years of being outclassed but getting by on physicality.

U17s was  awful 4 added mins, Woeful keeper error in 6min of added time as well and manager took off all his pen takers, cost me a fortune

U19s squad is very weird dont understand it to much, We would of won it with our strongest team but missing some key men now

Good to see us in the toulon tourament final but the tourament is a joke this year compared to last year due to world cup and u19 touraments u21 tourament

Playing Venezuela in the final.  Apparently this group also won the U17 Euros 3 years ago

It was this group that won the euros 3 years ago, only a handful of players are in both the winning side,

Battered Italy second half today, vene are going to be very tired come the final

From what i have, and reports read on them im not suprised by a single of them being released,

This is being tested in the U20 World Cup, Had to make a few big decisions, including a pen, red card and Diss goal

Its taking slighly to long at the moment, The goal was fine and easy Diss, The red card took a bit of time as ref missed it and ball was in play for another 30seconds before it came up

The pen took a good minute of play to come, The main reason is they are using the same cameras as TV so replays arent as easy so this will get better

Unsure what i think so far

Chelsea also finished bottom of their group. You'd think with their youth players they'd be right up there as well

Chelsea side was more an U19 side than anything, Most of there players are out on Loan, Like Tabby, Solanke, Issy Brown etc

I know it's a competition that doesn't really matter but if our Academy is good shouldn't it be able to compete with league 2 teams?

Luton side was woeful as well, 6-7 U20 were playing, a few of them had played first team football but still we should be competiting with them, By the looks of it we were pounded, ye we were missing 3 or so key u20 players but we shoudnt be losing this match

I like the idea of what they have done to the JPT but U21( U23) shouldnt be allowed to use any first teamers, They are trying to smallen the gap between the youth and making it to the first team so why allow first teamers here,

JPT was long gone and its not cause they are playing us tonight, its the competition in general they cant be arsed about

Played 5 games for Arsenal u21 last season

24
What would of helped the situation here is if we arranged another friendly for today, People may say this isnt possible, But would of been fairly easy In my opinion, yes we wouldnt of been able to play one of the big sides, but Why not play one of the teams in the Tweede, Derde or Hoofdklasse League, We would of given them a battering but around Arnhem/ Amsterdam there would of been a fair few sides that didnt have games today and cause these are so small they would of jumped at the chance to play a team like ours from the Premier League, This one would of given the fans who have travelled something to go to and for the team would of given them 90mins which we arent getting now

25
You have to regard this as not being far off what Pulis regards as being his stongest XI (notwithstanding sulking Saido), so it looks like Pulis is, predictably, continuing in last season's vein with regard to Chester, despite his impressive performances at Euro 2016. I'm sure Chester realises it's futile staying with us when Olsson is still being preferred to him.

Agree, but could be something to do with Chester being behind on pre season due to Wales
