Not sure you can read into it but Morrison travels to Dubai and Phillips stays for treatment?  It all seems a little too convenient for me based on Experience of WBA and transfer windows.

Missing a finish or hitting the back post more from corners first half.  Armstrong and dack creating most of Blackburn threat.  There to be won.

Shocking tactics again.  Dawson and Bartley could be a good centre half pair.  They are been made to look like muppets by the tactics and a keeper being asked to commit sucide!  What I have witnessed tonight is nothing short of negligence.  No issues with passing the ball but the defenders are there because main strengths are heading, organisation and clearing the ball.  It’s like watching Wigan and Everton under Martinez.  Madness! And unless Darren changes it he won’t last.

"It will obviously be a very strong budget because we've just been relegated from the Premier League but as I've always said, it's not how much you spend, it's what you spend it on....we need to work harder on our recruitment." (Mark Jenkins - May 2018)  (Nicked from Worcs post in the Transfer Forum)

Didn’t work very hard at all did he.  Right back? A 35 year old short term cover out of the US and A Central Attacking midfielder - Not recruited.

Despite a number of big earners and first teamers being exited and some areas having to be changed within the squad because of this over the summer the verdict on Mark Jenkins and the hierarchy regarding budget and the deadline day for perms signings  and now loan signings is nothing short of shockingly poor!

Best player on the pitch again Forrest for West Brom preseason when Irvine was in charge and then let go. Tyler Roberts another sold on the cheap to fund a flop.  Roofe as others just needed games or loaning out.  I hope the club has learnt lessons as with Fitzwater and others.

Looking reasonably good with the ball.  Right back a concern.  Barnes looking like he could tear it up on this 45 mins.

A very experienced no. 2 with all the credibility and credentials to make a difference.  So far not seeing any down side.  Sometime patience is a virtue, another possible example if Graham Jones is the man picked out by DM.

To win a game you have to score and score more than the opposition.  Trying to win rather than not lose feels like a completely different approach already and has been missing.  AP appears to put an emphasis on this and trying to attack teams rather than just defend at all costs and try nick a set piece goal.  This approach can of course open you up to conceding first, however, more than happy to live with that.  I hope we don’t go completely gung-ho and end up behind early daws but if we are on the front foot tomorrow from the off and the crowd get behind the team whomever plays I think we have a real chance of a positive result.  It’s been a long while since i was looking forward to a game.

Post the Dean Ashton comments on Alan being known as “Chocolate” amongst previous dressing rooms, surely there will be some Hot Chocolate pre or post match on the playlist?  Dad Dancing optional, 3 Points top of the list!  As for the last day or two I think he’s played it perfectly.  I have a positive feeling which hasn’t been there for quite a while.

Huge respect to Gary once again for stepping up to the plate.  Very easy to let this one drift by and say oh well we’re rudderless.  Not sure what happens next but huge credit for a man who has done a huge amount for wba!

Brendan Rodgers first choice for me but that is not looking very likely. Therefore Alan Pardew ticks many boxes and I don’t believe by any means is a disaster.  In fact I am warming to the idea that he will do a solid job.  If the club really are thinking long term and want to take risk then a Chris Wilder or a Graham Potter are the left field options I believe offer something different.  Not by any means saying they will as it’s a big gamble but there are examples where this approach actually works out more beneficial sometimes, any appointment is always a calculated gamble, it’s just how big you want to go!

Looked excellent in U23s before loan.  Roberts, Leko and field should be in the squad and have had minutes for us.  Ridiculous situation attacking goal scoring talent being loaned out.  Pulis has no intention of playing them.

If the answer is BSam, the question is surely one of how to best protect the investment (short term).  Will be a poor investment medium term and from my perspective it will just be another Pulis and a wasted opportunity.  I would rather take a punt on someone with no premier League experience and risk relegation after what we have suffered and bring some real hope back to the stands.   My shout is definitely for Brendan Rodgers but at this point in a season with the wider context it’s a very big if not huge ask for that to happen.  I just hope we don’t end up with a same old has been names which will be so uninspired.   It’s the hope that kills ya!

The intent and desire to go win a match is just not there.  The team is setup and sent out to defend with a negative mentality.  Do we even practice attacking play and passing the ball to each other, because it certainly doesn’t look like it.   Set pieces and defending that is it.  Dont want instability but the football is so dire and the results as poor it’s getting to the point where a more positive approach is required by Tony or someone else.

Reading the many posts and articles, a number from genuine Everton fans I am chuffed we have this done.  Already seen some of the potential awesome talent breaking through the academy and with this a 1+1 year deal For 1M, all upside.  Just a few more now to get over the line and we can look to loan a couple out.  Welcome Gareth and hope you have a fantastic season.

Home season ticket holder for 25+ years.  Away season ticket holder for a number of years.  After last season this is the first time I have genuinely thought of giving it a miss.  I have travelled over 200 miles for every home game for 10 years and have just moved back to within 10mins of the ground.  I guess I go for atmosphere and attacking football.  Not seen much of that for what feels like a very very long time.  It's a long standing tradition with family ties, but Jeremy and now Tony have come close to killing it.  I have been to non league grounds for first round cup games,  seen us loss and had more enjoyment and entertainment than I have in the last 12 month.  Hoping for change soon.

No surprise tonight.  Tony Pulis is eroding my love of football.  We Cannot pass, retain possession or play.  Players out of position, A world Cup quarter finalist that cannot get near this team!  Mixed with poor signing and very questionable tactics.  40 points and all that I hear the cry.  I may just chose to watch paint dry next year and turn the sound down on the we played well but were unlucky sound bites from Tony.

Totally obvious what was going to happen.  Question marks over fletcher and mcmanaman regarding fitness and impact short term.  Not getting any other deals for full backs, forwards or wingers across the line is a shocker!  I'll be amazed if Pulis hasnt been throwing teacups!

Job done!  Super defensive display away from home.  Unbeaten in 3 and staying in games past 60 mins give us a chance to get something out of them.  Not always pretty but looked very solid as a team.

Welcome to the Baggies!  I have images of my first game 37 odd years ago.  A season ticket holder for 20 odd years the comments above have brought a smile to my face recalling the atmosphere at the Swansea game.  One of the best days had to be my sons first game.   The look on his face as I made sure we came up the steps from the concourse just as the players were about to come out from the tunnel with the noise and atmosphere buzzing.  I hope your son and party have a great experience.

I may be being thick but after finally sussing that I need to create an account for each sth who wants a ticket It still won't let me create accounts. My missus & grandson have never needed one before because I always got their tickets on my account. I input all the necessary info and expected an e-mail with temp password. Which is what happened the first time I created an a/c to buy online. But no e-mail and still no way of getting them a ticket. Two mates who had a similar issues went to the ticket office and things were set up there but no one seemed to be able to explain why they couldn't do it at home. Think I will have to go in tmarra. Incidentally got my ticket no prob other than a 2 hour wait to access the site >:(

Exactlysame issue.  Have emailed ticket office!  What a mess.

Wisdom absolutely shocking right back.  Game after game.  A World Cup quarter finalist in Gamboa cannot get a game.  Hope TP sorts it out.

Always try to see the positives despite peace being more interested in making money for himself than WBA, the quality of football and what he has referred to in the past as the great unwashed.  He has not only cocked up here massively but after last season and what was needed,  I am still seething after letting it sink in!  There was no passion or excitement last year as the sole has been sucked from the club I have supported, attended and followed for 36 years.  Peace has put another nail in his own coffin here and this is about the only positive I can think of.
