Fair play Albion, after my rant we got a good win in the end. Good to see some desire and hopefully we can finish the season on a high and dust ourselves down for next season.

I'm in plus two others. Just had a look at the seating plan on the OS. My guesstimation would be less than 150 seats are currently remaining from an allocation of 2,100.
Fair play to those that are going. I feel pretty dejected by the clubs incompetence and poor decision making, and the body language of most of our players this season. Really hoping some pride can be restored for next season. I may sound a bit like a spoilt sport, perhaps i am, but given how things were a few years ago even, theres no comparison with our bunch of representatives from your scharners, mulumbus, heck even fortune's.

Wonder how many will bother going to this one then? I see an entertaining 2-2 draw, neither team anything to play for, although asking for 2 goals from our lot seems tantamount to asking a legless dog to climb everest without assistance.

Same old same old. At least we got a clean sheet after Mondays absolute rubbish. I would say roll on next season but that may be an exaggeration.

Oh boy. That is all. The shameful deterioration of this club continues. Sorry to say it, might be called out for it but its exactly how i feel.

I absolutely loathe these players, i really do. Useless the lot of them. We started well, and then we just absolutely crumble. From bartley waving his arms about to this, you knew it was coming.

Well, you know what was coming didn't you.... The pantomime season continues. Could see how the game was playing out early on in the match after a kamikaze own goal. We were far too sluggish, no creativity. Any balls in the box were predictable when we were attacking. Ive wasted enough energy venting about this side. Just end the season please.

If we get the points today (so superstitious i cant even use the 'W' word) and blades dont win, we could close the gap to 5 or less. We may have given ourselves the absolute faintest of outside chances. But so many if buts and maybes.

God im excited already and its still nearly 8 months away! Benzema looks unstoppable, Brazil have a point to prove, but then again, so do our lads......

https://www.espn.com/sports/insider/soccer/insider/story/_/id/33674108/world-cup-2022-predicting-every-game-result-group-stages-final

This is fun if a bit aimless and hypothetical at this stage.

My prediction, Brazil to win, France runners up. We go out Semis

Here we go 🤣🤣 Forget it, not a chance in a million years of the playoffs……………..

Absolutely no appetite for this game, as most have already said. Will be astonished if its anything other than a loss, maybe a draw at the very best scenario.

Didnt see any of the game but it sounds bad on here.

Have the players heads dropped again or Bruce getting wrong or a mix?
Just not good enough, simple as that. The amount of time and space for their goals is criminal, if we wanted it badly enough we would have found a way to win that game and keep ourselves in the mix. Instead, we gave them copious amounts of space and scored a blatantly offside goal at the end to save our blushes.

All but over for me. Move on, try and get in good shape for the season ahead, stop conceding simple goals

Win on saturday and we're back in the mix..... That's all im saying. Personally i think we need Forest to hold QPR tonight and Blackpool to beat Blades, thats what i'd be hoping for anyway, as i see QPR/Blades as being more than capable of finishing above us.

Ummn probably
But either way, it's the hope that kills.
??
Anyway, a tiny part of me thinks we’ll have to ride a huge storm but maybe, just maybe we can squeak it 1-0. That said, even if we do win tonight, we’d need to drop points in maximum 2 of our remaining matches to get into the top 6. I’m still fairly well resigned now to accept we’ll have to rebuild next season and go again, but let’s see?

I want to have optimism, but Monday drained it from me, absolutely gutless performance. 1-1 I think in this one, hope you enjoy to this who go, I’ll watch quest highlights tomorrow eve nervously as im in snowdonia until tomorrow evening.

I apologise for saying it'd be 2-0 tonight to us. I was very wrong, i clearly got mixed up between us and swansea, easy mistake.
That aside, im running out of bad things to say about our performances now, it's really quite sad to see how bad we've become. Just my third match this season but this side looks absolutely shot, it looks like every player has deep rooted PTSD, the lack of confidence is staggering. Sideways passes, backward passes, and then of course just when it looks like we've grown into the game and created two half decent chances our defence (that parts like the red sea when moses has intervened) allows the freedom of south wales to get more shots on goal, and inevitably they go in. It was absolutely toxic then and deservedly so, we're a disgrace right now. How have we fallen so far? Second worst on form in the league in the last 15 games i believe, with only peterborough below us. We HAVE to sort this for next season, we have to clear some of the deadwood, and become a more competitive side. Right now id be happy for us to follow a style like Millwall or something, make the best of our physical options ie Carroll and bully their defence. It's how they've developed their side and look pretty good this season. Swansea were 100% there for the taking tonight, to boost our confidence and we've blinking blown it. Nice one Albion.

Since we have been on this bad run, I can't understand why some of us are backing us to win. Crazedwbafan is also feeling confident. Why? What makes you confident? I have not backed us to win for ages, but tonight, although not confident, I think we will win. Why? Only because I think it's about time we did. We need to score first and it needs to be early to get our fans behind the team, and I will be one of them. Come on you Baggies.
Exactly the same logic as you. It’s about time we did, that’s the only reason. If I had logic I wouldn’t be braving the rain for the shambles this team has provided for us lately!

Part of me just hopes at least we can make it a little exciting going towards the end of the season, or at least restore some pride. There's really no excuses for not putting in a shift here. If we go behind i really can see it turning very nasty and rightly so given what we've had to endure past couple of months. A win here could be pivotal into getting a bit more pride/feel good back into the club. Lose and we could be heading for a relegation scrap next season.

First home game (minus covid) in years I’m not going to, lots all interest and genuinely couldn’t care less what the score is. A sad time.
Second home game this season, was really hoping we had a last chance of redemption tonight but i feel like we've missed the boat now. Still, think we might snatch this in a very very rare win 2-1.
