Hull winning again. Not a good result for us if it sticks but we need to win our games and if we fail to win at least one then it’s all on us for chucking it away

Emery extends stay until 2027 -The Athletic

Bad news for their rivals as he is an absolutely brilliant manager

some people really do have it in for certain players! Townsend does make positional mistakes but then is very good getting forward. You now want Reach in that position who has been lambasted ever since he came to the club!

Townsend is not very good at getting forward at all. Massive misconception

Is Townsend responsible for all our faults? He wasn't the player that missed any of the 4/5 chances saturday, he didn't concede the penalty or leave the smallest player on the pitch to  have a free header for Leicesters second goal.
We know he isn't great but our faults are collectively not singular.

Never claimed he is responsible for all our faults, he's just a particularly poor footballer and proves it week in week out. The second Leicester goal came about because of his shocking defending and he played their bloke on for the first goal by being in no mans land at the far post, yet again. Ergo, in my very humble opinion, he needs to be dropped.

As an aside, I was also advocating Diangana and Bartley missing out because of poor performance, but feel free to just focus on Townsend  ;)

Palmer

Furlong   Ajayi   Kipre   Reach

M'Vila   Yokuslu   Mowatt

Fellows   Wallace   Johnston

Would be my choice for this one. Dominate the midfield again with those three as we did for large parts at the weekend and hope to take the chances this time against inferior opposition.

Townsend I have made my views known on previously and he is unselectable because he is so poor so it is a toss up between Reach and Pipa. Bartley seems to have reverted to his usual self instead of the inspired version he was prior to that injury so I would give Semi a run out and Fellows in for Diangana who was poor on Saturday and missed a couple of sitters.

Not something I thought I'd see written here given my last listen to it. Struggled with my sleep last night so I might give it a go again later. Cheers for the reminder.

Any chance of a heads up for the minute I need to fast forward to where he agrees with you please? Wouldn't want to miss that bit before dozing off, sounds very interesting  8) .

I have submitted your feedback to Adrian, Chris and the team, including your full name and address  ;D

As my love for you is almost as Insatiable as that of Darren Hayes, I forced myself to listen back to the first few minutes of it for you again...

Around the 4 minute mark onwards where he looks at the striking options  ;)

Interesting listening to the Liquidator podcast and Goldberg agreeing with me that we look far more threatening without BTA up top. The movement of Wallace is just far better/more intelligent and creates so much more space for others

I saw the Rotherham game . I have seen every game this season .Jed has flattered to deceive this season .
Your conclusion is always to blame BTA, please take into account the financial cost to our club for the services of messrs Wallace and Swift versus Thomas-Asante

Bizarre argument. The financial cost of any of those players has nothing to do with what is best for the side in the games to the end of the season. We look better and far more cohesive without BTA, simply put

So, we stick the ball in the onion bag about four times , and it matters not if he supports Leicester, or sells seats to Dingles in the Halfords. Excuses , excuses, and by the way if BTA had been around he quite possibly might have notched one.

I think anyone who saw the Rotherham game would say otherwise. Wallace put in a far better all round performance than BTA has all season and we carved out chance after chance against the best side in the league, on paper, so I think the only conclusion to draw is that BTA stifles our creativity with his lack of ability to control or pass a football

Townsend cannot start for us again this season if we want to get promoted. Think everyone can see what I’ve said for a long time now; he’s terrible

Will report properly tomorrow as I’m off out for the day and night now, but we were brilliant and I couldn’t be prouder of all of the team except for Townsend who continues to cost us

Bodes well for us potentially finishing sixth though, we’ve outplayed them and would win were it not for CT

I’m no fan of Townsend but in most Championship games he’s ok. If we were to go up absolutely a left back has to be on the shopping list but he’s generally good enough at this level.

He really isn’t

We’ve played well. Our god awful left back and lack of a finisher is what has cost us, otherwise we’ve been fairly superb

There you go 2 nil.

Genuinely don't know how thats happened.

Because our left back is League Two standard at best

Maybe Bring Maja on surely worth a punt. We really should be winning. Individual mistakes and wasted chances costing us, I feel it coming. Corner

I said we’d rue them first half and the same applies again. They’ll get a second and kill the game

Still on the game. Grady getting undeserved pelters again on my opinion.

As I said previously, would look to bring Phillips on for M’Vilaat HT or close to it.

He’s given it away every time he’s had it. Can only call it as you see it, I have nothing against the lad but he’s been awful

Half time comes at a good time. We need to get back in control of it. Diangana needs to come off and maybe M’Vila as the referee will send him off based on how quickly he gave that penalty

Why’s that? I’ve not seen any obvious logic for that.

The fact he didn’t book the Choudhry tactical foul and then books our first tackle is the only thing I can think of
