I think Gamboa would be much better bet at full back than Chester, especially against the pace of palace wingers - can't see it happening though!!

Anyone else have an issue with season ticket last night? Got to the ground at 7.50 because of bad traffic, went to enter ground and season ticket failed had to walk round to ticket office and wait in a queue for 15 minutes. Really annoying!!

Myhill - possibly could have done better with first goal, but generally did well and make a few important saves - 7

Chester - Awful, caught out of position on a number of occasions, and looked so awkward when he received the ball past half way line - 3

Brunt - Caught out a few times, comfortable on the ball which helps playing ball out the bac, but tried to do too much on a couple of occasions - 5

Lescott - poor game for his standards, at fault for third goal - 5

Dawson - average, would prefer to see him at right back out of the two as looks more comfortable there - 5

McLean - annoynmous - 3

Morrison - the pick of the midfield especially second half. Kept going and running at the man city defence. Not his best game by far but kept at it. 6

Fletcher - worse game by far, improved in last 30 mins - 5

Gardener - struggle to see what he offers, and what position is his best. Mistake picking him over yacob, and think dorrans is a better footballer. 4

Lambert - held the ball up well and laid off and brought others in to play. Was getting closer with each free kick he took. Think will be a good buy. 7

Berahino - looked sharp, tracked back well, and would not looked out of place in man city team with some of his movement and touches. Should of scored but stood out for me. 8

Subs

yacob - should have started but a typical yacob performance.... Broke up play, gave it a way a few times and got a yellow card. 6.5

Anichebe - Put himself about well, still moans a lot if ball isn't direct to his well 6

Mcmanaman - floats in and out of games, but the one chance he had to run at defenders he looked dangerous. Would prefer to see him start over McLean. 6

Sure I read Gamboa was having more time off having been at the Gold Cup with Costa Rica

I don't rate brunt but I actually think I'm last 2 home games he has been one of our better players. Especially in the second half v qpr.

Crying out for him or Sessegnon to be brought on to replace Gardener yesterday, to give us a wide outlet - insted we brought on Olsson, sat deeper and deeper and the rest is history!!

I think the the club could at least make the early round of the cups free for season ticket holders.

Alright saying sell him - needs to find someone to buy him first. If he keeps saying in the media he wants to leave, and has a lazy attitude who is going to want to pay a lot of money for him?

Liverpool look set to sign Ings
Spurs have Kane on fire / would probably go for Austin if qpr go down

Just discussing Wigan game on soccer Saturday - said mcmanaman was awful and looked miles off a 5 million player.

5th favourite now with bookies at 16/1. Wouldn't fancy arsenal, Man united or Liverpool away - but on our day capable of giving them all a good game. Good draw and we could do very well

John joe shelvey would be a good addition, but still feel we would need some wingers with pace - so wouldn't say shelvey would be instead of mcmanaman
