Derby all over Boro I fancy them for automatic promotion Lampard looks like he has the makings of a good manager.

Agree about Lampard. Always seemed to speak tactical sense as a TV pundit.
Also, though obviously I'm not a Derby fan, its always pleasing to see the Pulis team held.

If Moore plays the same team then Leeds to win at The Hawthorns is the biggest banker you will see.  Strrets ahead of us.

Dean Smith destroys Lampard who has only just destroyed our cretin of a manager

We will regret not going for Smith. He’s a proven successful manager

Massive regret. I still cannot believe we opted for
Moore over him, it’s embarrassing

What position in the league is Smith's team and which position is Dave's team in?
Which team has scored 37 goals so far?
I rest my case.

 ???

...to elaborate, your attempt to compare apples and oranges is utterly nonsensical.

Wouldn't rest it yet to be honest

In his current job Smith has had 5 games, won 3 drawn 2, scored 7, conceded 3 with a squad he's just took over.
Our last 5 we've won 1 drawn 1 lost 3, scored 6, conceded 8 with a squad he's been in charge of longer and had a transfer window

Long way to go yet but shows stats can be produced to suit any purpose.

Can't really compare Brentford/Villa to Moore and us in fairness. Think Dean Smith has established him firmly at this level. Moore most definitely isn't.

Surely you should have used Moore's first 5 games in charge of us as a comparison to Smith's first 5 games in charge of Villa? Which would have shown 2 draws and 3 wins 6 scored and 3 conceded, or even Moore's first 5 games in the Championship which would have shown 2 loss and 3 wins, scoring 13 and conceding 8.

As you say though Statistics can be produced to suit any purpose.

Said it before in my opinion this is one of the toughest leagues in the world. Any one of 7+ teams can win this league.

Win your home games and pick up odd wins away otherwise don't lose is the formula. If you can string together runs you can fly away from the pack.

Too often we have done business at home and just surrendered away. Following result at Ipswich with something positive at Norwich will do us world of good.

Norwich have quite a kind run of fixtures so can see them up there for a while. Villa on the other hand have an awful run.

It's not really worth looking at this table until the halfway point
O Albion we love you

I still think we'll canter the title. Though the 100 points will now be a good effort.  ;D

No cantering about it for me, it's shaping up to be a good battle between 7 or 8 teams with the possibility of one or two outsiders creeping into it also.

I've said it from early, I think Forest may go up automatically - they're close but will spend again in January and are already solid.
