I long for the days of Taylor and Hunt. Could be because I want my childhood back, but those two were incredible. Good, honest footballers.
Although the standard of football has generally improved since the 90s, I can't help feeling the matches were more entertaining then. Maybe a case of rose tinted glasses, but I have defo been to a lot of dull games in the PL era. Escaping relegation to div 2, then the climb up the table, then promotion. So exciting back then.
At times now it does feel as though we're only playing because we're contractually obliged to.
