I rarely slate people.....I'm very positive and try to see the good in all. This said, I've listened to this man for years and can't for like life of me work out how he's employed. He's dull, agressive, unreasonable, surley, bigoted and lacks any shred of charisma that could allow myself to tolerate his pretentious opinions any more! Thoughts?

Good on sky but much better when covering matches in Ireland for RTE, as pundits tend to have free reign to be open and honest.
Many far worse than him. Owen, Redknapp (Jamie) both top of the bore list for me.

I do think he's quite a boring pundit but he's also not a stupid one, which puts him about 50% of pundits in my view, as many of them are genuinely some of the dumbest people you can meet. Having said that, he also seemed very bitter last year at Leicester doing well which was very unprofessional.

Away at a local derby in Turkey, fans booing you and a spat with the rival manager then you do that, that is why people love football.

The old boys network is in full effect in this country. People think you have to have played the game to know anything about it, and that's blatantly not true.

I think you've contradicted yourself there - two blokes who will say things about fellow pros are Souness and Keane.
