I can't even remember us having close misses, with only one shot on target all game, and Palace fully deserved their win.
The main problem is that the team as a whole played too deep. Rondon, had an incredibly difficult task, having "passes" fired into his chest from halfway back down the pitch, and with nobody within 20 metres to lay the ball off too. Of course Palace and Allardyce did their homework, and scoring the first goal gives you a tactical advantage, but even deep into the second half we were hopelessly outnumbered in the Palace half. We saw all the little time-wasting tricks from Palace, and I think there should have been far more than 5 minutes extra time, but sad to say, its straight out of the Pulis textbook.
I think we definitely need another striker, if necessary to play alongside Rondon, as I don't think Robson-Kanu has the sharpness needed in front of goal in a 4-4-2 formation.
