This will be a tough game given West Ham have played well lately against non big 6 teams. I'll take a draw but both teams seem evenly matched so anything can happen.

This will be a tough game, would take a draw to keep the points total ticking along. Carroll in good form, hope we can keep him quiet.

It's similar to the Stoke game in that win, lose or draw we will still be 8th come 5pm, so in that respect the players can be more relaxed about the outcome.
I'd be more concerned if it was at the Hawthorns to be honest as West Ham have been poor at home.

Can see us taking all 3 points. We are starting to put some of the missing pieces in place that will turn us into a genuine top 8 team.
Stop them putting  crosses into the box will be the winning factor in the game.

Looks like the lanky, pony tailed, didicoy has a groin strain and is only rated 75% for this one.

If he doesn't play, we win IMO. (I fancy us if he plays TBH)

Unfortunately I can't see us winning this one.

Expecting/hoping for a 1-1 but could easily see a defeat, we don't seem to have quite clicked yet away on the whole.

I think we will beat them.
We will go there with a confidence and will play with a swagger,we have very good footballers in our squad and I think that why are lightweight and not mentally strong.
I take our defence to control Carroll,he doesn't take to being pushed around and goes missing when bullied.
We will enjoy the new wide pitch with our widemen running at them with control and pace,im going for 0-2. Ronnie and Chad,no real worries they're not a good team, have faith in tone.

You could take the quick train from St Pancras station (next door to King's Cross) to Stratford International station, which is also in the Olympic Park.
The high speed trains are big and spacious, just use a contactless card to get through the ticket gates.

I can appreciate your dislike of public transport, especially in London.

But:

1. It's approx' 6.5 miles from Camden High St to the City of London stadium
2. Saturdays weather forecast does not match that of a nice sunny day
3. You'd probably have to leave Camden at about 12:30hrs-13:00hrs to make kick off

Obviously your choice though, all of the best with whatever you decide  :) ......

The TFL leaflet attached below says 11 mins.

There will plenty of folks to follow, so doubt you could get lost.
Anyway up, enjoy and bring 3 points back please

Imagine this on Saturday Spam win the reporters will say Hammers on push for Europe we win the reporters will say Albion 3 points closer to safety yet we will still be 2 points in front of them hammers. So let`s go there and show the cockney supporters why we are above them and win

We could really cement our league position with a win. Everton have Middlesbrough away which isn't the easiest of places to get a result. Both Burnley and Watford have tough games where you wouldn't expect them to pick up 3 points. Stoke have Palace at home. If Stoke and us win it leaves us 7 points ahead of 9th

Not overly confident about this one to be honest, I think they seem to have come together as a team after Payet was dropped and then sold. I'm not ruling us out by any means but I would be delighted with a point going into the game.

Lived in East London for twelve years, for those of you planning to drink in the west and then head to Stratford check the transport for London website site carefully. 1. London transport is good when it works but can go down quite quickly and you may need a plan B  2. It takes a surprisingly long time to get from North/West London to Stratford, particularly if you are cabbing it or far from a tube station.  My suggestion might be to pick somewhere like Leytonstone, a couple of stops down the central line (red one on your map) and drink there.  There is a good Weatherspoons and a couple of good real ale pubs on the high street and it is only ten mins back to Stratford.  Looking forward to this one, think it will be close with West Ham in good form as are we.

The new ground is only about 3.5 miles from their former home.

There were reports earlier this season that the Westfield shopping centre (Stratford) was closed to football supporters. No idea whether this is still in force but here is a link describing the one way system which was in place in August.

Link below features two short videos by West Ham supporters from the same site linked above, offering a guide to pubs in the area surrounding the new stadium.

I have absolutely no idea whether colours would be a good or bad idea, but bear in mind there's been quite a bit of trouble following games at the new place. Personally, I never wear colours anyway.

All the best.

Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

Why on earth would you drink in a shopping centre from 12 ? There are thousands to choose from across London and then go over to the ground.

I'd say that it's always less hassle not wearing colours to away games, especially if you want to get into all the pubs beforehand with no trouble.

Absolutely no colours up at this game unless you like walking a tightrope with a nasty fall.  Upton Park was bad enough but apparently the new stadium has attracted a lot of their old troublemakers on the look out for away fans.  Just my view but always safer to play it low key until you are in the ground.

Lots of nice comments about the team and how we play on kumb.....not so many about TP but a begrudging respect that his style has changed since his days at Stoke...many Hammers fans predicting a draw or defeat for them....

My mates that support other teams have run into trouble even without colours.

Re drinking leytonstone isn't a bad shout (I live there so can vouch). In terms of time to the ground they shut off various routes on match days and funnel fans from what I know.

If you want ales try Bermondsey (has good breweries) then get the jubilee line to Stratford

Can't stand West Ham scummy club with scummy owners, fingers crossed we go down there and wipe them off the pitch (that we all paid for). I think Chadli will have a big game for us I think he's starting to come into abit of form again.

We need to get ahead in this game looking at the bench. Strong bench though. First time in a while, would rather Leko was in for Olsson. MUST BE QUestion marks over Evans.

I don't think there's question marks over Jonny, it's just that he's been out for a while. This might be a way to ease him back in gently.

We all know how old school TP is, and like the old saying goes never change a winning team.

I don't think anyone deserves to lose there place after last week even though we would be stronger with Big Jon back.
