Lincoln City have confirmed promotion from League 2 despite being pegged back 1-1 by Cheltenham, thanks to a loss by MK Dons and Mansfield being held to a draw.

They only require one more victory (or a weird set of results next week) to be crowned League 2 champions

Two police officers prevented him leaving the ground by standing in front of his car as he attempted to drive away. No sure if he was arrested.

Got Concord Rangers 3 promotions up non league. Ge then nearly got tiny Braintree Town into the football league, before getting Lincoln 2 promotions from conference to league 1.

Heard on the radio coming home that there had been quite a bit of trouble inside and outside at Sunderland V Coventry.

Trouble seems to be creeping back into the game more, especially at the lower level - there were lots of incidents at Wembley between Sunland and Pompey as well.

I wonder if the police cuts are starting to bite and the hooligan groups have sussed out this lack of manpower equates to a licence to ramp up the trouble ?

Not at all.

Police cuts doesn't seem to have affected the complete over kill that is seen at football grounds up and down the country.

Looks like Walsall will be getting relegated too.

Notice Walsall lost again today, they are in dire trouble now and looking like they'll be down in league 2 next season.
