From our last four visits to Swansea we have two defeats, one draw and a win which was in 2018. I was there for three of them. A defeat a draw and a win. Complete set.
The draw was March 7th 2020, our final away day before the first lock down. The game itself was a dire nil nil borathon, our only real chance of the game falling to Jake Livermore towards the end. He launched it. I believe the ball may still be in orbit.
Other memories of the day were the murky weather, the surreal atmosphere, seeing faces I hadn't seen for a while and spending company with good people. And the handshakes. And the hugs. Lots of hugs.
It was almost as though we knew we wouldn't be seeing each other again for quite some time. A band of brothers. Baggie Brothers. Sadly I can't make this game but the memories of that away day draw will be front and centre tomorrow.
