Nothing other than a win was any good to us tonight. Might as well try to push forwards in the last 10 minutes. I’d rather us lose by 3 or 4 than play so deep. This result is good for Brighton only.

But if the midfield don't get any control in the game, its inevitable what happens.

Your defence have to do some defending at times.
But we concede too many goals like this one.  Sitting too deep, allowing the opposition all the space they want, cross comes in, panic, goal.

Midfield will struggle to get control of the game when they're spending all their time a yard in front of the defensive line.  We don't have out balls.

Allardyce to blame tonight. Can anyone defend his record with us?

We’re a rotten team. That’s the top and bottom of it.

O'Shea has had a hand in both goals tonight.

Amongst many, many, many other things, he's been well out of his depth this season. Should be nowhere near a Premier League 11.

This half has been all them and even at 2-1, have we had a kick?

Then he should have left it for Diagne to knock into the empty net.

Now you're blaming him for not realising his shoulder was an inch offside?  And if he'd have left it but was actually onside? Or left it and Diange was offside?

You would think with the new signings coming in that the players there currently would up their game....

Alas, same old rubbish

Glad we’re going down if it rids us of this dinosaur. I said it 3 years ago under Pulis and I’ll say it again, no point even wasting your time watching a team that plays like this.

No. Unfortunately not. It's terrible. When he was appointed we were only 3 points off safety, now it's 10 - 13 points.  His team selections are amateurish and tactics are so basic. We've got worse defensively under him and lost our ability to keep possession. The most disappointing thing is that thanks to his car crash decisions over the last two months the new players he has brought in don't have a chance of turning it around.

Right then. Maybe you should focus on Allardyce not the one time we actually got up the pitch. Pleased with him bringing on Kanu tonight? Starting Livermore when Gallagher has outplayed him all season. Taking off Dianga when he is at least a threat. Bombing out Grosckcki? Setting the team up to chase a long ball or sit in a low block?

Joke stuff.

He is. Thought his lack of pace nought cost him but his basic defending has vanished.

What for??  You can't get a red for disappointing opposition fans. Was an easy yellow and never a red.

We won't create another chance now will we?
Any other team you would expect the alamo, we'll just let them play the clock down.
All very sad. :'(

I agree with all of those criticisms Frazzle. Win at the custard bowel so why was Button dropped when Johnstone concedes goals like a sieve?

So you want every player to know if they are six inches offside or not at any one time?

Sam said a minimum of 4 points or were done. I think he’ll be gone by the Man Utd game. His choice I reckon.
