Sturridge relegated this time last year, lifts the Champions League this year. It’s a funny old game.

It is for him. Wasn’t for us.

I still cannot find anything funnier than the PSG scouts saying ..."right we have Cavani,Neymar and Mbappe....we now need Chupa Mouting from stoke"

Barry Hughes, who was in our youth team for several years early 60's, has died in the Netherlands. After leaving us he spent his entire playing and coaching career in Holland, credited with discovering Ruud Gullit and having Louis van Gaal working for him. He was perhaps most famous as the "Entertrainer" with a couple of pop numbers which made the Dutch Top 10. He was also well known for performing on stage during the Dutch Carneval season.  Football wise his teams were average 2nd division, but he was very media friendly which must have helped him in his career.

Barry Hughes was an absolute TV legend over here.  His death was one of the lead stories on the morning news.

Alex Bradley has confirmed he is leaving the club at the end of the season, the 20 year old has been at Havant and Waterlooville as well as Burton Albion this season. I would expect Burton to take him as he’s been quite successful in the past half a season, scoring his first professional goal on the final day.

Seems he was all set to sign for Burton and they've had a change of mind now and pulled out of the deal

I always thought Bradley would go on to have a Sam Mantom-esque career. May struggle for a club now though.

Protecting his value which will only rise, perfect club and manager for his development to be honest, Rodgers will play him and he fits Rodgers style of play, good luck to him!

Tahvon Campbell has signed a 2 year deal with Cheltenham Utd (edited: Town) .

Saw him play a couple of times when he was younger.

Good movement off the ball and he looked as though he had something about him

Very good friends with Saido though........  :-X .
