Grimsby have now issued a statement along similar lines to that of Tranmere

It’s a disgraceful decision, made worse by the fact that there has been no consultation with any other bodies it has been implemented solely by the greed league ! Tranmere have come out with a very good statement and it needs more clubs to follow.

A few random thoughts from yesterday : Chalobah's injury and the red card meant we' ll never really know about how the changes would have panned out. Bartley totally mis timing the attempted header leading to the goal as well as Townsends absence from the scene. Interesting Bartley was hooked at HT in a like for like swap. Why no Weimann at least give us a more natural finisher. Why so little time added on despite subs , injuries and blatant time wasting ! Left the ground feeling hopeful but confused , Jeez it's hard being a Baggie sometimes even after 60+ years of practice !!

What I really can't understand about the penalty is why the lino didn't put the ref right, surely he must have seen and known ! Otherwise it was a case of job done with minimum of fuss and with the bonus of M'vila getting through 90mins and Maja getting back onto the pitch. Just a thought but with Wallace to come back into last night's squad who gets left out !?

Not if there in League 1) ;)

I suppose it could depend on whether it was all paid up front or instalments

Yes the financial cost of removing Bruce and his 32 assistants is included, so is the money from the Dara O'Shea sale.
I’ve read somewhere else that O’Sheas transfer isn’t included ?

Any news about how long we will have to do without him? Sorely missed him yesterday I feel.
CC hoping he’ll be back for Stoke but shoulder too sore to train on Sunday. Hoping he’ll be back training in next 48 hrs

Was surprised how flat the atmosphere was right from the start. With Norwich just having lost I thought the place would be bouncing , far from it sadly. It was more a case of everybody sitting back and waiting for the slaughter of the innocents !

TV pundits would have been drooling over his pass for BTAs goal if it had been made by Foden, Odegaard etc !

We deserved no more than a point. Should have been ahead at HT but first 20 mins of second half we were woeful and barely got into Watford penalty area . Reach, M’Vila and Grady had an impact when they came on together as they upped the tempo and massively improved the passing. Tremendous equaliser from Furlong grabbing what could turn out to be the most valuable point of our season !

What was Kipres injury , is it likely to keep him out Monday ?

Picking the likes of Dunk & Maguire whilst not picking Tomori is ridiculous. He must have seen how Dunk struggled against Lukaku at club level recently. Poor defensive picks means more cautious choices further upfield leaving the team playing with the handbrake on

If he was that good  wouldn’t he stand out in that midfield ? ……He didn’t !

Whilst I fundamentally don't disagree if you have the choice of bringing on Field/TGh or Chalobah/ Reach I know where I would.go but we can only the faith

Looking down on Field and TGH for playing for inferior teams is not fair to me
I have to say I didn’t see anything from TGH yesterday that would make me regret letting him go .

Comfortable win never really in any doubt. Bristol were very negative until the last 15 or so minutes. Townsend MoM for me and Bristols centre backs bot well in the running for moaner of the season award . TGH probably lucky not to see red after an early deliberate handball went unpunished.
M’Vila looked a player even in a very brief cameo, made a couple of solid challenges as well as playing a couple of decent passes , could well be useful over the last 8 games

I feel that moving from the Hawthorns would take some of the spirit from the club.
It's possible to extend the Halfords Road stand over Halfords lane by providing braced stanchions on the other side of the carriageway with traffic going underneath.  This is fancier engineering than the East Stand and would only be cost effective for a fairly large increase in capacity  - more than we can hope for in the near term.

The major problem is the poor rail and road services.  I used drive up from Hants and park near my grandfather's either in Old Hill (hardly any parking) or in Rowley Regis station but many of the trains out to Stourbridge don't stop there.  Surely WM trains could be persuaded to put stopping trains on on match days and evenings?

The same must go for all the other public transport services.

The real problem is when Sky moves a match then public transport can't react quick enough.
Most trains on that route stop at Rowley Regis

Harrison has been left what 4 years or so ? If they are now filching 16/ 17 year olds and younger I can’t see that leaving to work with him is a direct result of how good he is/was there has to be more in play I.e agents , accountants with brown envelopes for Daddy etc.
