seems to be any word that starts with "pi" and ends in "ing".
I've changed "wetting" to "selecting" and it seems happier with that

Modify: but it has changed p-i-c-k-i-n-g to wetting again in the above.

What’s with all the Diangana hate?
I don't think it's hate, I think it's opinions about best use of squad.  I wouldn't start him at Millwall, but I'm not selecting the team.  In CC we trust.

Might this not be an effort of disinformation?  They are trying to deter anyone from making an offer for him?  Or maybe he's from the wrong side of town up there.
He plays for the Republic of Ireland, so I don't think it can be that

"The shirt is of a different weight", eh Brendan?  Yes, we are a a founder member of the top league in the world and you are one cheek of a second rate a*** that sits on top of a mickey mouse pyramid of part timers.

Game by game, mind the gap.   Norwich on a roll now, I wouldn't settle for less than 80 right now.

From the replays it looked like one of those headers that bounced off the top of the bar flicked off his shoulder as he missed his punch, so in a way it was a great save...

Is this the first time this season we have won back to back league games? Hopefully the break will do the lads good and maybe get a couple back into the frame. Some of our football is a joy , reference to the second goal but sometimes we do make it hard for ourselves with silly mistakes. I feel that when Okay goes off we always seem to lose that “nous” , he is the glue. Furlong played well today and have to say Townsend was decent. Football was controlled and another clean sheet at home.
You notice Okay most when he's not there, like the man on the stairs.

We were a bit lazy towards the end, just as well they couldn't shoot for toffee.

Diangana is better when he doesn't have time to think

I don't think it was going up.

It was a rocket, but it was pretty straight and hit perfectly, it wasn't rising imo.
Given that he hit it off the deck, it must have been going up at some point 😉

Still going up as it hit the net.  Would probably still be going up now if the net hadn't been there.

Thought he was the only one who came out of the 1st half yesterday with any sort of credit and was visibly p1ssed off at what was happening in front of him.

If we stay in this league I’d offer him a 1 year extension on reduced terms. I don’t think we’d be able to replace for a like for like quality for any less.
I think so, we will need some sort of continuity - he won't be offered massive wages anywhere else now.

Depends if you count kicking it straight out of play for a throw in when under no pressure as a clanger :)
Not a Major Clanger

Reading through the in-match thread and the over-reaction of quite a few as we struggled in a dire first half is very entertaining. Lots of posts about the sky falling in, Palmer needing to be dropped, subs galore required etc. All very panicky. We never got going until the second half but had enough about us to keep Huddersfield to just the one goal. Then as they tired our quality and momentum was too much for them. Okay scored a belter but was a bit sloppy in general play. Palmer redeemed himself. Bartley was excellent throughout. Johnston usual dangerous self. Weimann made the first goal. Excellent week again. Backed up the important Coventry win with 4/6 points from two away games. Everything is going great, we just need to manage the squad and injuries during the run-in.
I don't take back a single word I said about the playing out from the back malarkey,  as on option fine, but we just do it too much from too deep.

Mikey is like a kid in the playground, headless at times, but it's really refreshing to see

We just cannot play like this away from home, it doesn't work, I don't care if we come back and win this, you have to smash it long sometimes, as we found out under Big Dave, if you are doing this every single time it just doesn't work.

I don't like this playing out from the back, we're too slow at it ,I'm not saying lump it but we must mix it up a bit!
Yes

Loved that team if I had to choose an Albion side to come back the 78/79 team would be it.
A few in that team would be worth a king's ransom today Staham, Robson, Cyrille and Laurie either one would clear our current debt with money to spare.
Seconded

Not prejudiced in the slightest, there are few people I dislike in life and none of the Albion players fall into that category. As with any player we have, I call it based on their ability and how they perform for us, which is why I rave about the likes of Yokuslu, and why i call it as I see it with the likes of CT.  He just isn’t particularly good, it’s not a slight on him as a person, he has maximised the lack of talent he has to the point where he is punching way above his weight playing for us. I watched the Ipswich game the other night and Leif Davis for them was everything CT dreams he could be
I have to agree, it's not a personal issue, you can't really fault him on effort/commitment but that's about it.

I'd play Pippa Middleton at LB instead of Reach.

An absolutely atrocious player, wherever he plays.
So would I

No-one at the back seems to be prepared to take a lead when he's out.  We are going to need a more dominant CB next year if his course is run.
