No I didn't think it would take time - I thought that we would never be outside the top 8 and would improve as the season went on. I didn't think we would be on 7 points after 7 games and looking down rather than upI'm not sure of what your "money" comment means but spending £50m in this division should almost g'tee at least a top 6 position

He does have a point though, on paper I'd say their team was probably the 2nd best in the league after Newcastle - or at least top 6 (perhaps Norwich, Wednesday et al are similar in terms of quality).And it's crazy to think they've spent £50 million, that's nearly 5 times as much as us. I think you'd want some kind of return from that on the pitch.
