It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Another hilarious late goal conceded. Convinced they'll click and finish top 10, potentially scrape into the playoffs.

He's got a point in that sense, they created something like 27 chances the other day.

The second bit, well agreed, utter tit  ;D

Much though it pleases me to see Villa struggle, most of us on here can only dream of seeing our team create 27 chances in one game.

No I didn't think it would take time - I thought that we would never be outside the top 8 and would improve as the season went on. I didn't think we would be on 7 points after 7 games and looking down rather than up

I'm not sure of what your "money" comment means but spending £50m in this division should almost g'tee at least a top 6 position

My VillaTalk post of the night goes to this tit.  :-\

He does have a point though, on paper I'd say their team was probably the 2nd best in the league after Newcastle - or at least top 6 (perhaps Norwich, Wednesday et al are similar in terms of quality).

And it's crazy to think they've spent £50 million, that's nearly 5 times as much as us. I think you'd want some kind of return from that on the pitch.

A collection of players does not necessarily make a team.

Our play off losing 'squad' were testament to this.

It will take time for them to settle, hopefully a very long time.

Just sat in the sauna with 2 from the b6 rubbish tip .
They ain't very confident now,so I played the "see em up" game , politely asking to name 3 teams better than them that could finish above them , they answered Newcastle then couldn't think of any more.....bloody priceless they am , I then told them I'd heard Pullis was going there...they think "tone"will get em up no problem....

Love my gym  :D ;)

You've really got to admire their consistency.  New season, new division, and they still can't get above the Albion ;D
