How strange that with their mini revival, he pulls the keeper and Kojak out the starting 11.
I know they have to be thinking about the league match but confidence breeds confidence, now he's changed the team if they lose to Wycombe he just won't come back from it.imo

Christmas sometimes does come early, its amazing what a win and a draw over Wycombe and an ex dingle goalie can do for confidence

One positive voice came on the radio last night and said they will hopefully win their next 3 games, Us, West Ham and Norwich. Where do they get this stuff, they've won 2 games all season, we're 15 points ahead of them, West Ham are 6th!?! They might sneak a win against Norwich at most. Delusional.

That is taking one game in isolation. If you watched us against Chelsea, you would say we should have no issues staying up.

We could still get dragged into a fight, but I can't see us going down and thoroughly expect us to be safe by mid April at the latest.

Like Jacko said they have won 2 games all season but are expecting to win their next 3!!

They talk about a 4 game unbeaten run....2 of those games were against a League 2 side where they drew away and just about managed to beat them at home.

Delusional...absolutely...but they did win the European Cup over 30 years ago so they should be expected to stay up  ::)

Remember our Great Escape season? We'd only won 1 game by the end of Jan. Until it's mathematically possible I'm not going to get too excited.

We actually had 2 wins but the main thing is we were 5 points from safety, Villa are 10.

Simplistic I know but,
if you calculate points taken to date over 22 games and mutiply by 38 games Villa end up on 26 points on this calculation you would need 37 points to stay up,

Which means,  Vile have to win 5 more games in the last 16 games than they have won in the first 22.

Its a bloody big ask and we can make it much, much tougher by pasting them this weekend, god willing !

(and i am not religious, but in this instance I'll take any help going)

If there's one thing I will never understand it's the perpetuation of the myth that British players are full of grit and determination while foreign players give up easily. Ridiculous claim.

We had one win after 22 games which is where we are now.

Are you having one? seriously!

Mine will start about 5.00pm tomorrow when we put the final nail in the vilers coffin & wave cheerio for many years.

So the question is: will you celebrate the viles relegation with a party?

I don't share you optimism about tomorrow but if we do win then that will be it for them and yes, I will be celebrating like mad!!!

Perhaps we should all have a party together in a pub somewhere when its confirmed. I know that I will be unbearable when the day comes!!!!!

Works for me. It will be a hell of a night! We can go through the whole repertoire of songs.....loudly!!

My favourite was the Sherbet song.........

Oh, and well done to all the travelling fans to Bristol the other night for your brilliant support. It was great to hear SOTV in the quieter moments! Fantastic.
