Looking forward to next Monday against Sunderland.
The return of Di canio  :o
Remember when the vile beat Swindon in the cup, and Di canio went to the vile fans and pointed to the ground as if to say your going down.
I can just see him knee sliding in front of the holte end in his Armani suit.
Come on Paulo you can do it.

I wouldn't put money on it seeing as they're playing Tottenham :P

Ok try this one on for size & tell me its all fantasy!!!!!!

Wigan WIN their game in hand  :-\

Wigan & the vile emulate each others results before the last game of the season  ;) (Wigan = Baggies (A) Swansea (H) Arsenal (A) vile (H))
(vile = Norwich (A) Chelsea (H) Wigan (A))

Wigan beat the vile on the last day  ;D ;D ;D

Now, assuming other teams (Sunderland, Newcastle et al) can muster the required points...........WHO GOES DOWN? not beyond the realms is it guys?

As an aside, had to laugh watching Sky before the match last night, vile fan asked if they would stay up, his reply 'definitely, I'm so confident I even renewed my season ticket'  :-[

I would agree if villa had just about won last night but it was a 6-1 hammering. The team will be buzzing and I will defo be putting villa on my coupon to beat Norwich at the weekend!

It's game over sadly.

I always knew they'd stop up but I thought it would go to the last day.

They win this weekend and they're safe.

They will be a strong team next year and we will struggle to finish above them in my opinion.

I hope I am wrong too! I really do.

Just can't see them losing this weekend, which will pretty much see them safe.

Its bad enough listening their lot blowing trumpets without our own chipping in as well.

We've been more than a match the last few seasons for the veela. We should also be a stronger team next year and again more than a match for them.
They dont have buckets of cash to splash about so I cant see them spending big, old Lampit will be relying on the kids again.

I'm not getting in to any next season prediction stuff but have to say they were terrific last night. Fair play to the Villa they have the basis of an improving team and I like Lambert's calm stoic demeanour.

villa have got
norwich (Hughton wont want to lose that and they need the points)
Chelsea (surely no one can see them winning?)
and then wigan , now after beating sunderland then loosing the next 2 after thinking you were all but safe , maybe the nerves really get the better of a young team that have been smashed quite often this year ?

Wigan on the other hand
have us (who have been quite lethargic at home recently and will be missing some players)
Swansea ( who love martinez and have dipped off with not much chance of catching us)
Arsenal ( ok they lose 1 ) but we probably thought spurs would do em
and then the vile , who arrive shaking like a 5hiting dog , a deluded team full of kids who keep being pelted v a very good footballing team who have been there done it many times???

83rd minute at the DW , scharner clears a long ball , Vlaar misjudges the pace of the ball and Kone goes around dr evil and wigan have done it !!!!!!
