Several roads around Birmingham are impassable due to several inches of flags.

I think they will. Newcastle are getting fresh blood in. Wigan are in trouble unless they get players back from injury, but they normally have good spirit in camp and don't panic when it comes down to the final crucial games and always peak their form for April and March. QPR just got Remy to fire them to safety and 'Arry is sorting them out defensively. Reading have won twice in a row and might get a bit of steam build up. Southampton look far too good to go down, while Villa are imploding. They have a relatively inexperienced manager in PL terms, a few rotten eggs in the squad and lots of inexperienced players, some clearly not good enough for the PL and no money to get in decent, experienced players.

Let's hope we see a Dingle-esque collapse. This will knock the stuffing out of the players.

So they want to replace a man with just 1 season of Premier League football under his belt (which many fans have complained isn't enough), with either RDM or Adkins - neither of which even have that much experience. Oh the joy at their demise!

So they are going to do a half Blues season, not win the carling cup but still get relegated!

Can somebody pinch me  ??? is it really true that the mighty aston villa got knocked out of the Birmingham City Micky Mouse cup by a team from the FORTH division.

The same aston villa that took 3500 fans to an away game in uzbekistan on a cold Tuesday night....for a friendly  ::)

The same aston villa who's fans openly pre booked (I know some of them) hotels near Wembley stadium because they were going to easily wallop Bradford  :'(

The same aston villa who tried (in vein) to blame the Bradford City Vicar for telling his fans to book hotels, this was totally untrue but allowed Lambert to act all hurt with his 'we'll see at the end of the game' speech.  :o

The same aston villa who's sad fans come on to this site spouting history lessons & then run away when they're arguments are blown out the water, please come back on & tell us more how you don't care about us.  ???

Tonight football won, the team that deserves to be playing in the cup final won but perhaps more importantly Arrogance & Delusion LOST.

At least Blues won the cup the season they went down, crawl back under your rock seals.

Their next 3

Milwall away (careful)
Newcastle home (remember when they sent them down and really rubbed their noses?)
Everton away (easy?)

If lambert is still there I will be amazed, #getmickfromipswich

I would be suprised if he takes charge of Villa for the Millwall game.
