Yes, if they fail to beat Reading on Tuesday, they will be in deep trouble.

Jason Roberts must be due a goal, loving Southampton screwing them twice in 2 months, at the moment they are like a soft lad at a stag do.....16 pints behind :D

In the past this is the type of game that it looks like its a possibility then 'bang' the go and get a result. I'm half expecting them to pick up the win as they always jam out of trouble.

I've got this horrible feeling that they're going to come good.

They may well get out of it and make me look the fool... but just looking through their squad the players they have don't really look any better than the other teams down there. hopefully qpr can have a burst of results under Harry which usually happens as soon as he walks into a new job! They have a great squad. Southampton have a lot more about them than Villa. Reading i worry about but seem to be competitive in every game, need more goals! especially on Tuesday COME ON!

Closest thing to a relegation match as you can get this early on. Shame for Villa they've also got one this weekend.

I'm not sure they've got the bottle for it.

Make no mistake these two games are MASSIVE for villa and could go a long way in deciding the rest of their season.

I think they need at least 4 points from these two games really anything less and they're in it up the there neck.

I think Reading will sneak a draw tonight and QPR will pick a win this weekend against villa. At least that's what I hope!

Come on Reading do it for Shane!  ;D

Looking forward to watching the game tonight, wonder how Villa fans feel about it being billed as a relegation 6 pointer, a head to head between 2 of the bottom 3  :-*

To be honest I reckon Villa will win. Thought they were decent vs Arsenal on Saturday. Benteke is a player.

I was impressed with their work rate. They just kept running for the whole game. I thought they would tire towards the end but they didn't. Maybe it shows in tonight's game instead.

You could well be right, Reading will more than match them for work rate if nothing else.

That game had championship football written all over it. Hopefully Southampton beat Norwich tomorrow night and put Villa back in the bottom three where they belong. Reading played just as bad as Villa, a terrible game for the neutral. Thought Reading played quite negatively... Saw Norwich go there and play some bright stuff deserved more than a draw, same as us. If Reading had of given it a go we would be laughing!

Apparantly they are not playing Bent due to a £5m payout to Sunderland if he scores another goal (or something along those lines) fee was £18m rising to £23m after x amount of appearances/ goals.

Without being bias that looked like a relegation clash last night. Both teams looked awful.

That was the most boring game of football i have witnessed in many a year.

Did anyone notice they were advertising their European cup win on dvd on the nonelectric ad board.

MOTD getting all aroused over the Villa.

"They've had a really good week" "young side, a work in progress" what a load of s****.

They were poor under McCliesh and they're poor under Lambert. Lambert to me just seems to be a worse and more annoying Brendan Rodgers, thinks he's some sort of footballing saviour. I wish he'd just f*** off.
