I feel like i'm sticking up for them here now haha but if they can win tonight then it can bring some confidence to the team, it's just a shame they have got a hard next couple of games and could be bottom soon  ;D

According to some tweets I've seen from Seal fans. Apparently at the end of the game, Paolo Di Canio walked up to the Villa fans and gestured that they're going down  :D

Paolo Di Canio, he knows what we are!  :D

His fascist salutes at Lazio used to make me cringe, but that (big, obvious, unmistakable) gesture winding up the seals was genius.

There should be some sort of special award for the man.

I reckon it's just G-Macs agent doing a pre-contract talks stunt.

All the story said was that Lambert had been seen at the Hawthorns and therefore someone thinks he wants McAuley -- no quotes or any other substantiation. It was so weak that I didn't bother posting it here.

Westwood was very good on his debut according to his manager. Another from the Crewe youth production line. Could turn out to be a good one for them.

If Mac was 23 instead of 33 next month & playing the way he is, I would expect far bigger teams then vile to be coming in for him.

Get the feeling they've looked at our squad (with envy) & thought 'who's contract is up next' ahhh we'll go for him!

I could imagine G Mac thinking 'do I really want to finish my career in the Championship?' nah! don't think so.

It cant just be me who cares little about Villa this year? Last year mattered as we hadnt finished as the top Midlands side for years but now we are in such different places that im looking more at clubs like Fulham and Liverpool as this years aim where as Villa are looking at staying up as their aim for the season.

Maybe if I thought they might finish above us I would are more but at the moment the odds are on us being in different "mini leagues", our at the bottom of the European chasers, theirs trying to stay in the division.

Things im sure will change next season as they start to build again but at the moment, for this season at least, we arent really rivals.

The first result i look for is to see if the vile have lost.
When you get idiots like that Alan on WM saying they will finish 15pts or more above us,you just want to rub their nose in it.
There fans deserve to be relegated and  playing Blues and Coventry as their big games  :D

Who do these villa fans think they are?

On the phone ins moaning about the Utd fans not showing their support to petrov.

Let's get one thing straight, it's a terrible disease one I would not wish on anyone and he has my best wishes but where do these fans get off expecting every man and his dog to join in. Last I heard it was a free country with free choice, so everyone has the right to clap or not.

I am going to say these lot are getting worse than the Liverpool fans, they really £:!;£9 me off!

Rant over!  ;D

I heard Tom Ross having a go at the Utd fans as well.

Just because people don't clap doesn't mean they have no respect, they have a choice of whether to clap or not to clap and it also doesn't mean they don't sympathise with the terrible illness Petrov and others have suffered with, we are all pleased to see he is on the mend but cut the lack of respect stuff ffs
