Apparently fit to train this week and is in contention for the squad for the Swansea game.

Something smells a bit fishy to me.

Wants to put himself in the shop window

So he was upset he didnt get a handshake. Oh Boo Hoo should be concentrating on getting results that is the most important thing. Think he is trying to deflect the blame away from himself
Makes you laugh doesn’t it, I mean he could’ve broke club rules and ignored a curfew, gone to a fast food joint in the early hours of the morning and then stole a taxi (allegedly).
Greg should’ve dropped the nut on him, he’d probably have seen that as showing passion

We may be expecting AP to go, but if Jenkins is such a money man it will be cheaper to be relegated with Pardew than to pay him off and be relegated with someone else. I'm not holding my breath for an announcement, though I really hope I'm wrong.
Well we can only hope Jenkins realises it would be a calamitous decision financially to keep Pardew and if we do would more likely be heading for League 1 rather than challenging for promotion

While I'm not defending Lai its Williams who is employed to run the club , he let Pulis play fantasy football sigmings. £108, 000 a week on Greg for starters , a 36 year old Barry , J Rod who looks awful and £15 million on a raw kid in Burke.
Add the other signings and actually I for one can't really call Lai on investment , granted some was self generated but he's not been tight overall . That said he needs to put a bit more in!
He’d have spent £23M on Ben Gibson if Boro accepted it.

McInnes should be nowhere near a PL job. Neither should Michael O'Neill.
Same could of been said about Alan Irvine

Tuchel would be a massive coup, would be a huge statement of intent from Lai if we could get him

The axe needs to fall now, after Spurs and Newcastle we’ve got Palace at home and Swansea away.......make or break games.

Alright I know this is going to cause some controversy on here but I'm serious.

I think the next Scotland manager should be Alan Irvine. Better than the same old faces of Moyes, Malky etc.
Being English........ I hope you’re right

There are all kinds of modern technology for him to watch players, he as coaching staff to coach the kids, I don't blame him having a short break, you never know it might help him to find an attacking formula. :o

That would take a miracle of biblical proportions

£1 million is a massive amount of money!  Just think for a minute what you could buy for that amount of money!
It is to us, but in football it's a drop in the ocean

I wonder whether some of the recommendations of the Taylor report that have been implemented may now be looked at differently as they were based on what has proven to be incorrect evidence. I.e. all seater  stadia, no alcoholic drinks inside the playing arena, no alcoholic drinks in executive boxes whilst the game is in play. I appreciate standing is something the families of the 96 are against but these findings, in my opinion, prove the problem was the condition and management of the standing areas that resulted in the tragedy NOT standing itself.
Here here, fencing was a much bigger contribution to this disaster than standing. If there was no fencing, people would have been able to escape the crush by getting onto the pitch or moving to the sides of the stand which were nowhere near full.

Thoughts ?
Probably because most of them own them money ::)

Far too complicated?

Why not just consider "goals scored", as opposed to "goal difference" in the league table?
Wasnt this tried once?

I just wondered what their sales/ profit /loss was last season compared to ours.
Dont know their financial situation but a long period without Premiership money and the "pots of gold" Jack Hayward days just a memory they are a way off being competitive financially.
With strikers changing hands clubs for 12 million in the Championship and Wolves choosing to develop a stand where the money went to Steve Morgan's building company, they seem to have shot themselves in the foot :D
