Was at the match. Anelka was class but also looked extremely interested for even a friendly. Was also nice to see Long set him up for his hat-trick when he could well have taken a shot on for his own second goal at his old club. Suggests there's a good team ethic in the team.
No one I talked yet seems to know what penalty was for, but not too bothered either.
In fairness, Cork City were decent in first half and created several good opportunities, as well as having Foster throw the ball straight to one of them at the edge of the box. Liam Kearney in particular looked lively. With a Cup game the night before and a crucial League game on Friday night, not surprising to see them make a raft of changes in and around half-time.
