What a refreshing pundit, someone who talks with unbiased honesty, humility and with a great knowledge of the game certainly better than the likes of Hansen, Shearer, Gray etc.

I have a lot of time for Owen Coyle, top bloke, decent manager too.  He does put some of these so called pundits to shame.

He and SKP both did a decent job tonight, managed to give a balanced viewpoint without being horrifically biased against us like most pundits usually are.

It was the fact he took time to talk about both sides and then spoke about the other sides in the scrap and then Blues feat yesterday.

You can see why hes been such a success

They were both very good. It is refreshing to see pundits with something different to say other than the usual level of analysis you get from Hansen and Shearer - stuff you could here in your local.

Shame Coyle is such a good manager.

Completley agree.  A good honest bloke who loves football, and as a bonus his teams play good football.  Loves the game as much as any fan, proven by the fact he still turns out for the reserves now and then.

Thought he was a breath of fresh air. Better than listening to Lawro and Hansen and their love for the big teams( or should i say Liverpool).

There is no doubt that he is an excellent manager but honesty, humility, integrity (sound familiar Mr Mowbray?)... he was still prepared to walk out on Burnley with the job half done and let them sink or swim in the choppy waters of the npower Championship  :P

Burnley or Bolton ? A club that should be a mid table prem team .. or a team that was going to be a relgation team ? Thinking about his career .. He made the smart choice

If I was a burnley fan i would have been annoyed, but as  a neutral, I understand his decsion.
