Just hope it gets sorted quickly. We have some big games coming up and we  don't want to be going into them with a caretaker.

His Quotes
The upturn in the global economy has brought with it greater positivity and I can confirm I will repay the loan in full, with interest, by the end of the current calendar year and the funds will be available to the club during the January 2023 transfer window," Lai said

What a chancer this guy is. Disgraceful. >:( >:(

Not a chance the club goes bust. Too big and historic for that to happen.

Hope I'm badly wrong but I feel we're going to lose heavy today. 4-0 to Millwall.

Sean Dyche my number one choice . I think he could definitely get a tune out of the current crop.

He mentioned Klopp and Guardiola yesterday in hope of offering a defence of his management but all it does is highlight his failings. Football, and particularly football tactics, have evolved to a place where identity and philosophy are things you cannot hope to succeed without.

Pep, Klopp, Conte, Arteta, ten Haag lead the way - but that attitude filters down the chain. Howe, Potter, Cooper have done it in the Championship. Beale at QPR, Smith at Norwich, Jones at Luton, Martin at Swansea, Mowbray, Kompany, Tomasson, Bilic, Corberan at Huddersfield last year.

They have a precise way of playing and definable systems, shapes, tactics and discuss the game in that way. You could almost call it 'nerdy' or academic. There has to be a plan to counteract their tactics along with having a defined game of your own. And we don't.

Bruce battens down the hatches, roles his sleeves up, keeps bashing away and points the finger at individual mistakes. Closest thing to a system is 'Jed you cross it, Grady you run with it, strikers give 'em something to think about'.  :-\

I can't wait for him to go and hope we make a forward thinking, progressive appointment with a manager who thinks about the game in a way that allows us to compete with some of the other good coaches in the division.

Not going to happen under Gourlay. Probably be another dinosaur manager.

The clubs Twitter account very quiet today. Normally we get a "we go again video from Livermore " . Fingers crossed the next tweet is a picture of a corner flag🤞.

Can't help feel we have wasted a perfect opportunity to get rid. You just know the first bad result after the international break we'll sack him and dither for 2 weeks before appointing James Morrison.

I'd be very surprised if they bin him off now. The only way he goes is if Lai intervenes. Gourlay will give Bruce a few more games.

2010 -2014 best for me. More highs than lows. Great wins against the big teams. 8th place PL finish. Exciting players such as Lukaku, Odemwingie,Brunt,Morrison. 5-1 against the Dingles, beating the vile, 5-5 against Man United. We had a team of warriors with the likes of McAuley and Olsson.  2014 was the start of the decline and now is the end result. Mid-table Championship with a Clueless owner and a bunch of players who I despise.

How about we let the guy bring his own players in and then re-evaluate at Christmas. I think it's totally unfair to write Bruce off without letting the guy bring his own players in . The current lot have let him down, Val,Big Sam,Bilic aswell. I can understand the fan frustration but unfortunately with the current owner it's probably the best we can do.

Sad to see the ground so empty and lacking any kind of  atmosphere. Its like the club is dying a slow death. :'(

Bruce will get more out of these players than Ismael. Knows most of them already. Won't be pretty but should get us in decent shape for a Promotion charge.

Bilic would lift the whole club up. Also possible that wave of optimism and togetherness (fans and players) could sneak us up. Same goes for Tony Mowbray.

The club have only tweeted once today to congratulate the women's team. Normally we would get a tweet saying "we go again". Something is brewing surely ?.

Even if we fluke victory against Millwall we have Blackburn and Boro to come. Would take a miracle for him to make it to March.

Coventry are no mugs. Play good football and beat Fulham 4-1 and drew 2-2 with Bournemouth . We will do well to come away with a point.

We could do a lot better than this guy. Heck I would be begging the last manager to come back on a 6 month deal. It really is that bad.
