Last minute goals.
« on: March 24, 2017, 02:35:33 PM »
Another poster got me to thinking we should have a thread on last minute goals as they always get the full reaction from fans.
One i remember i was in the car in a queue dropping some rubbish at Cannock waste thorouhly peeved off as we were 1-0 down to vile with time almost up when up popped Robbo with the equaliser, i went nuts in the car and when i finally calmed down i noticed those in cars around me looking at me in a strange way happy days  :D.
P S it was our great escape season so was even more important than usual.

I was sitting in a Tesco car park, just about to let go of the last shreds of hope, as usual...

I remember that day well, was at Vile Park and had the joys of being spat on from above by their delightful fans.

The crazy 2-2 draw away at Derby under Di Matteo. For anyone else who was there, would you rather the game had just petered out 1-1 or was the minute or so of ecstasy worth the later pain?

;D Remember it well, Savage and Hendry running towards the away fans to take the pi$$ and Bednar and co jumping in to stop them.
Wasn't it that little scroat Hendry who equalised?

DJ Campbell, although Hendry set it up and gave it absolutely loads afterwards.

It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

Looking at that table now - the top 6 are still the top 6 but from the teams below that only 4 teams plus us remain in the premier league - you can never be too complacentl, even Blackpool were above us!!

We're 3-2 up against Cardiff in a six-pointer. Into the last minute of injury time , they're pushing up and Saido is on the break. Straight to the corner surely? No, no, no Saido thinks he can make it 4-2........ Oops 3-3.

Jonny Evans winner against Stoke last season.

I think Jonny got a late equaliser for us this season as well recently. Can't remember who we were playing but I think it took us to a 2-2 finish and the whistle blew for FT as soon as they kicked off.

Can't remember if it was last minute, but Super Kev against Luton. Losing and he pops up twice late on. Awesome.

I remember this one from a few years back - don't think it was last minute but it was late on in the game - I bashed all my legs on the wooden benches in the Tilton Road end! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRSIhBX63jM
