So i'm going to this (prepare for us to not win, still not seen a win since 2005!).

Where the best places for a pint? Do they have a bar in the away end? I've been before but i can't remember!

Wasn't planning on going to this one and definitely won't now  ;D  ;) .

Haven't been for a night out in Walsall for years but the link below may be of some use.

Does anyone know if this is the first team or the kids?

I know we have Burton on the same day

Assuming they'll look to mix both sides but if they were going to take a full first team somewhere you would have to guess it would be against the higher opposition at Burton.

I've just written down two starting 11s and if we don't sign anybody and assuming Morrison and GMac are both out we are going to really struggle to put two teams out and we're doing this 2 games in one day thing again on the weekend. Kinda hoping they mix it up a bit

You can do it but it's a bit of a struggle. Probably need 3-4 kids per 11.

Myhill

Nyom
Dawson
Hegazy
Melbourne

Phillips
Livermore
Field
Leko

Robson Kanu
Roberts

Foster

Wilson
O'Shea
Evans
Brunt

McClean
Harper
Yacob
Rodriguez

Chadli
Rondon

If Morrison and McAuley make it then you probably lose Melbourne or O'Shea and Harper. This isn't including McManaman either who might actually get a game in one of these friendlies.

I can see Pulis doing less of an even split though with a first team 11 similar to Saturday and Wednesday at Burton with McClean, HRK, Myhill, etc with the kids at Walsall.

Could use Kyle Howkins and Shaun Donnellan at the back too provided they're not going out on loan.

Jack Fitzwater went out to Forest Green Rovers today.

If you do a split then you probably use most of the U23 to fill the benches so the likes of Howkins, Donnellan, Campbell, Edwards, McCourt etc would be the subs.

Prices and latest ticket news for Walsall and Burton.

We probably won't know anything regarding the teams until they roll out on the day.

The squad split in 2 really does show how weak it is.

Not really split in two.

Myhill, McLean, Morrison, Brunt and HRK are the only proper senior players at Walsall

Exactly we don't have enough first team players to make anywhere near 2 teams pretty embarrassing for a premier league club.

Harper was very impressive take the ball anywhere under pressure and very good in tight situations. Looks a better prospect than field for me. Who grew as game went on.

100% agree. Donnellan and the other CB looked good and obviously Leko and Wilson looke likey they have bright futures, i hope they can all ebenefit from loans, Leko has some lessons to learn and i'd rather he did at another club. He's certainly exciting though.

Only seen the highlights but whoever was 45 did well - looked like Leko. Good dribbling to set up HRK in the first half and a lovely pass for the winner.

Agreed it looked like Leko did well.

I think he would be better off going to a Championship club for a season long loan, it would be good to see how he handles that league rather than having (very) limited game time in the Premier league.

Leko was actually very poor first half, gave the ball away almost every time he tried something. Second half he looked a different player and was exciting to watch but i did understand why Pulis is hesitant to use him. As people say, a loan it well help as he needs to learn lessons and for us it'll be great if he learns them elsewhere!
