Well done to Coxy for getting his call-up, richly deserved after his impressive form for the last few weeks. Also nice to have another international in the squad. I remember seeing him mention last season when he was playing well around Christmas time that he was looking to play for Ireland because of his links with his Grandmother and saw on his Twitter the other week that he went over to Ireland to see his family so I'm sure this is a very proud moment for him and his family.

Hopefully see him get a few minutes or maybe a start in these two games.

Good news for Cox but isnt this bad news for WBA? Will he not be classed as english any more with the new eufa rules coming in?

He will be classed as homegrown mate, it's where you were trained not what nationality you pledge to. Carlos Vela counts as an English player for European and English competitions, for instance.

We need to start realising we have a decent player on our hands here....looked a Premier League player all day long last few matches his all round play is quality..
