Accordingly an new new rule introduced after Huddersfield played 10 reserves means we must have at least 10 of the players who played v Rotherham on the team sheet for Derby
Do you have a link for this. Am genuinely interested to learn more. The main one I remember is Mick McCarthy's Wolves fielding a reserve team against Man Utd. before playing a relegation contender that led to a fine. Can't recall Huddersfield being involved in such a scenario but assuming it is an EFL rule rather than Premier League wasn't probably as much media coverage.
What is the punishment if the rule is broken. A meagre or large fine. (Suspended) points deduction.
Assuming it based on match-day squad rather than actual team; could have three or four players returning form injury. Three or four players returning from knocks/suspension, could easily see a turnover of 7 or more players for the squad. Of course could be seeing to strengthened the squad depending on what players are bought in.
If this is enforced, should we not ensure same rule is applied to Bolton Wanderers.
